Mixed review hereI'm a long time fan of the drinks and Brewpoint Founders café was my all time favorite coffee shop from the area because of its former cozy feel and cute aestheticBut all that said the place has gone to shambles since the newer location was built ( this coffee shop now seems so neglected and lacking tlc)For example, the floors are in a desperate need of refinishing, the tables look rickety and poor quality, the cute cozy corner that formerly had books and pillows is bare, the couch is gone and there's no comfortable seating, any cute art from local artists is goneInstead there is now a blazing neon sign with the logo on the wall which kinda ruins the ambiance (and for anyone like me with migraines triggered by powerful light, it's way too much)I love this place for its drinks and for its potential but it needs some loveeeIt just makes me sad lately to go thereAnd I'm not the only one that has noticedOthers I've gone with that hadn't visited in awhile have pointed out the neglect

Had a pretty standard experience here. I would more accurately give it a 3.5 rating. It was in a really cute location amidst a whole slew of shops. The interior was nice but smaller than I was anticipating. Very limited amount of seating, but if the weather is nice, I think I saw a table or two outside as well. Plus you can take a walk around the area!I went on a Sunday morning, and before I ordered, the barista informed me that it would be at least a 20 minute wait for my drink (an iced coffee with cream). I think it was because they were also managing a drive-thru and maybe mobile orders, but that was the first time I have ever had to wait that long for my coffee at a local shop. I wasn’t in a rush so I didn’t mind it much, just something to note. I would take the time at which you go into consideration if you’re in a hurry! There was also a limited supply of pastries when I arrived. I got there in the later part of the morning, so plan to get there earlier if you want more pastry/baked good options.

Nice space to work/study. Really good coffee, matcha latte and chai latte. My only wish is that they had more unsweet/sugar free flavored specials. Friendly staff.

Went here for coffee and to meet up with my mentor. Great coffee and great ambiance. Their pastries were pretty good as well! Would definitely come back

The coffee was good, but a little too light for my taste. Ambient was a little loud in the main area, but in the back it was more chill. Overall nice little coffee shop.

I used to be a loyal customer and stopped here every time I was in elmhurst until I moved away too far to go as often. During my frequent visits I had accumulated 10 punches on the punch card they offered and was excited to return to finally get the free 11th drink I earned. I wasn’t able to visit for a long time due to Covid, but recently returned only to find out they “no longer accept the punch cards”. Ok…so don’t hand them out anymore, but I find it completely ridiculous that they refused to take the one I already had completed. Not sure if this place is under new ownership because the interior looks very sad now and the drinks have changed, but bad move on the owners’ part to not honor something so simple. I won’t go out of my way in the future to stop here.

One of my favorite local shops. They have seasonal selections and their classic roasts are great. The shop itself is very cozy, and will make you want to stay. Their signature lattes are my favorites

Great coffee spot in the downtown area of Elmhurst. Cappuccino and sprinkle cookie were great and was reasonable at under $7 altogether. Staff is nice and helpful. Inside it's cozy with good decor and outdoor seating available. I just wished they offer espresso but otherwise the cappuccino was great!

This was my first time trying this coffee shop. I've been trying to find a cute place to go that doesn't get too loud, and this was perfect. The employees were super friendly and they helped me decide what I might like based on a few questions of what I prefer (coffee vs. tea, sweet or not, etc). Some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. I can't wait to come back to get my caffeine fix.

First and foremost, the location is in a great spot. We love downtown Elmhurst and the aesthetic of the storefront is spot on. However, our experience with the walk up ordering process left a lot to be desired. After ordering two cups of coffee that required cold brew and waiting 15 minutes for our order, the barista came back to tell us they were out of the cold brew and other components required to make the drink. When we finally got our coffee (which was completely different from our original order since they didn’t have the necessary ingredients to fulfill the first order) the order wasn’t called out and I had to ask the barista for our drinks which were visible from the walk up window. The coffees were lukewarm, but they were flavorful. Despite our first experience, my wife and I visited again but went inside of the cafe this time. The experience was completely different. It was fast, friendly and the coffee was incredible (probably because it was hot this time and the flavors weren’t as muted as the first). Don’t order from the walk up bar, order from the inside. It’s a good place, just a bad first experience.
