It saddens me to write this review but unfortunately I will share my experience. I will start off by staying 5 stars for the food. It is apparent that excellent ingredients are used, portion sizes are ample and it's simply delicious. The two stars are solely based on service or lack there of.My family dined in at Angelo's about a week ago and we loved it and our waitess was kind and courteous. I really thought this would become our go to Italian having just moved to the area. However I went back to pick up dinner to go and the vibe was totally differentI was not even greeted with a hello when I entered or acknowledged for 7 min as I waitedI thought in this day and age we were passed some of the cold shoulder treatment based on race but clearly not. So this is a great restaurant if you fit the picture of who they want to serve.
The waitress we had was rude and everything seemed like an inconvenience for her. I kept getting the run around when I asked for a manager. Eventually someone came up to me and spoke about the issue. They ended up taking gratuity off and comping out appetizers. The food was mediocre and the service was terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Visited Angelo's after a Memorial Service for my wife's cousin. The Memorial service was beautiful. The luncheon at Angelo's was superb. I don't frequent Elmhurst seeing I live in the Northwest burbs. Would highly recommend Angelo's. AWESOME FOOD, and GREAT SERVICE
Authentic italian food with large portions and staff was very friendly! Everything was outstanding!!
Delicious! We had salmon, calamari, rigatoni, pasta figioli, braciole, cannoli, and warm crusty bread. Mmmmm Our server was wonderful. Can't wait to pop in for the martini special at the bar sometime. Note food and pricing is on the higher end, but definitely worth it and good sized portions.

The food was amazing! I got the chicken marsala and my husband got the white fish- everything was fantastic. The atmosphere felt homey and everything seemed authentic Italian. We will definitely be back!
Very good authentic Italian food good size portions and the service is great. Fun place to come with family and friends and enjoy good night out.
