We stopped for dinner after our flight into O'Hare. Grew up in the area and have always liked this restaurant. Plenty of food, absolutely love their soups. Service is always prompt. It was a nice way to thank our son for picking us up at the airport and give us all some good food to begin our Chicago area visits. I usually like the rose garden pita club but this time I had the turkey dinner. We've always liked whatever we order though.
I love to come to this family owned restaurant as the staff and owners are so nice and the food is so comforting and delicious. I have to make sure to get the lentil soup next time I come here.

First time here. I ordered a NY Strip and fries. The fries were the same crummy coated ones you get at all of the cheaper restaurants. The steak was cooked properly but the beef was unlike any I've ever eaten. Just tough, strange mouth feel, weird taste, a simply horrible old frozen steak. The bread basket was very nice, but the soup was bland. The server was wonderful, but I doubt I would ever eat here again. Prices were average for this type of restaurant.
Today is All You Can Eat Fish Fry!Great service. Loved the Ladies Prime Rib with shrimp! Done to perfection. Tender and delicious! We will be back!
Always a great meal from Rose Garden. Waitress was awesome as always and found out she has a birthday coming up like I do. Will absolutely continue to come to this restaurant. Not just for dinner but for breakfast and lunch. When we went there was no waiting.
This is definitely our neighborhood takeout place. Whether we're coming back from my mother-in-law's house or leaving the neighborhood Brewery down the street we always get takeout from Rose Garden. My husband loves any of the burgers which are always huge with fantastic crispy fries and I get the Philly chicken pita sandwich with fries and cream of chicken soup.Food is delicious, the owners are super friendly, and it's always very fast hot and always superfresh! The club sandwiches are gigantic and the soup is absolutely out of this world! We're here probably two to three times a month at least! It's a neighborhood gem.
This place was recommended to us. The menu was expansive with option from breakfast to dinner. It had options hard to find. Hubby and I got favorites Liver and onion and Veal parmesan and spaghetti. We also brought home yummy dessert. Would recommend and will be sure to return
Sorry, must have been what was left over from yesterday! Cabbage was rock hard, corned beef was TOUGH. Best part of the meal was the potatoes. Quality slipping at this business?
We ordered the French toast combo and the French toast was tasteless and watery. Like, it spurted with flavorless liquid when I bit into it.We also ordered waffles with apples. Same no taste for the waffles, but what really was disgusting was the apples. They were basically mush, a step away from applesauce. When I bit into one, it tasted like it had fermented.Disgusting. Never again.
