On the negative side: 2 employees were not wearing masks (one Indian young guy & one Indian young lady) AND I saw with my own eyes the young Indian lady was blowing her nose. After she finished blowing her nose, she DID NOT WASH HER HANDS. I probably would have asked to cancel my order but neither of those 2 people were handling my food, and the young lady at the counter was so sweet. Sadly, I was not offered a receipt, and I did not want to stir up a fuss in front of other customers, but, I can tell you that I was there on 4/23/23 between 2:30-3:30 CDT.I know this becuz I had just picked up test results from a lab and the print time for my results was "14:35 CDT" and I saw the KK store driving home from the hospital. I hope this review leads to better sanitation and NOT to firings. Customers just want to know that employees are following IL State mandated health rules. Maybe you could post the rules in the area where employees work, abd not just in bathroomsOn the POSITIVE SIDE:Delicious! Had no idea Krispy Kreme was available in Chicagoland. Found it driving by. Stopped in and had a coffee and two glazed donuts. The QUALITY of the donuts at KK are so much better than DD. I'm very happy to have found them.
Good variety of donuts any time of day. Quick drive thru service (as of this review 5/2/2022 the dining room was closed and they only offered drive up service). Donuts were fresh but it was s little hard ordering different flavors thru drive up.
My son chose Krispy Kreme over a cake for his birthday. Decided to get 3 dozen doughnuts. 1 dozen was all glazed and that was fine. The other 2 dozen were supposed to be mixed and all they gave was cream filled and my kid hates them. Such a disappointment especially when I ordered the day before.
Krispy Kreme in its Glory Days used to be almost a cult. Looking at this big empty location, it is now a shadow of what it used to be.This one is a big location but all the chairs and tables have been put to the side and they only now do walk-in, pick up and drive through. No 'hot donuts now' sign, no conveyor belts making fresh glazed Krispy Kreme donuts, no real movement at all inside the store.. pretty sad.
You can't beat these donuts, they are just SO good. I prefer the glazed though. So delicious.
Would have been 5 stars but would have to explain the current experience tonight. First of all, in the current situation with "covid" the lobby/ going inside to order was closed.. so the only thing you can do is drive through.. at first being behind someone taking an order for about 5 minutes I was getting rather upset thinking the driver is taking forever. But once pulling up to the intercom I then realized it was the service of the employees. Trying to ask what's available to purchase besides the traditional glazed donuts was rather irritating because they didn't seam to know what products they had and would only say I don't understand what your asking.. but the menu was barely lit up to see as well.. upon receiving my order I noticed that the dozen glazed donuts were quite cold.. the whole point of going here was to get some fresh donuts right off the line. These donuts were prepackaged in the box and already on the racks.. this was a very disappointing experience.
These donuts are amazing. This location is usually not too busy, it is probably quicker to talk in to get your order instead of the drive-thru. Donuts are always fresh and staff is ready to assist. I believe at the moment the place has mandatory mask policy and has the indoor dining unavailable. Definitely going back to this location.
Too sweet there is only glazed one even the chocolate dipped one have glaze on them , not so many options, the prices is high you can buy same brand half price from grocery story , the store is not clean
Great variety of tasty doughnuts. Like everything else this year a little more costly than I thought it should be but they are top quality.
You have to mention...REWARDS...TO GET THE PROMOTIONs... I was getting charged full price... if u want us to come back... I think you have to notify customers... we have a promotion going on...buy 1 for $1...etc... idk ...I guess customer service here doesn't matter.
