New to the area and had lunch there with my mother the other day and feel that they can have more friendly people hosting and serving, saw another review saying it might be a race thing, I don’t know! But they did seem friendlier with other patrons. My taco salad was bland (chicken) but my mother had the tilapia and she enjoyed it very much. This is my first bad review ever posting, but am a firm believer that we can all learn from bad criticism. Hope they can work on their customer service to prevent loosing further prospective clients.
Let me preface this by saying I love the food here. HOWEVER I've never dined in. The service was absolutely horrible from the waiter only. The host and the chips guy were amazing.The waiter was extremely rude, he ignored us, and even threw our glasses and straws on the table and briskly walked away without a word. We waited a full ten minutes for him to come back, even just to check in on us. He kept walking past our table not even making eye contact. So we decided to leave. He came back at the literal moment we were about to get up and asked us if we were ready to order. When we told him we weren't, he abruptly snatched the menus up and stormed off. Buddy, we did not ask to be treated like dirt while you ran off and paid attention to everyone else in your section EXCEPT us. And yes, we're thinking it's a race thing by now but let's not get into that because people won't understand.We won't be doing business here anymore. Sad because the food is good, but we don't want to be treated like untouchables. Shame on you!
I will literally never go back to this place the experience was horrendous, the bartender cut me off after 3 beers, by telling me that Elk Grove is super strict about their liquor license? I've never been told something like that ever in my life after three beers i even mentioned to them that i had a DD who was there with me and i was completely coherent and polite at no point did i feel anything past a slight buzz the place is a joke save your money and go elsewhere.
My boyfriend and i went there to get a small appetizer and Margaritas, My boyfriend ordered a Premium Margarita which is already 4 dollars more than a regular one. When we got the bill they charged us an other 2 dollars on top of the already up charged drink. When we placed the order in the beginning our server didn’t really know the prices of the up charge and didn’t tell us the exact price of the up charge. We called the manger over and he was still not understanding our issue of just being up front with us from the start about the prices. The manger was kinda fiesty about is questioning the prices. i don’t think i will go back for a while considering the bad experience we had
The only reason I am giving 2 stars was the way I was treated. When you are considered a liar without coming right out and saying I was a liar is uncalled for. I have tried to contact someone regarding my incident but to no avail have I been able to talk to someone. Will never recommend the Elk Grove Village location a place to go.
Well the first thing that you see, is how the restaurant is decorated. I Loved it, really colorful and inviting. The service was Top Notch, and the Food was Excellent. I has the Shrimp fajitas, they were SO GOOD. I'm going back asap
Always go here for special occasions with my friends. Food is authentic Mexican and plentiful. Add the variety of dishes and you have a perfect restaurant experience.
The BEST nachos that you will ever taste! The beer is very cold. The staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.
Great neighborhood eatery, loved the carnitas and the enchiladas con mole. Service was good even though the place was fairly busy.
