This place used to be good. Been going here for about 8 years now. Tonight ordered the bbq pork, won ton soup and steamed rice. Bbq pork taste funny, overyly sweet and nothing like bbq pork, soup was ok and you can't mess up steamed rice. This is the second time that something hasn't tasted right from here. Sorry but never ording again.
My girlfriend and I had dinner here tonight and later in the evening we have been feeling SO SICK from our meal here. Had the crab Rangoons that felt like they were just warmed up because they were not crispy nor did they taste fresh. My girlfriend had the sesame chicken entree and I had the orange chicken entree. Both dishes were luke warm when they came out. The past three times we’ve eaten at this Silver Lake location, it has been extremely disappointing and unappetizing. Not to mention our dinner was $65 tonight for the two of us and to receive our food prepared in such a fashion is BS. I won’t be back to this location ever again…

Best shrimp spicy fried rice from any Chinese restaurant. I requested a family member order this dish to be catered at an event recently, and it was a crowd favorite. I have been coming to Silver Lake for 15 years, and I have never been disappointed.
Does this restaurant have new owners? Something is very wrong. Ordered the Walnut shrimp in the restaurant and it was fabulous. A month or two passed and I ordered it to go. Breading was totally wrong compared to the first time, tasty but not the same. Ordered it a few weeks later, and the light breading was hardly there again and very little sauce. Ordered another to go, Empress Chicken, about a third of the chicken was dry and rock hard like the vegetables. Won ton soup is also a new recipe, tasteless. So sad. I loved having this wonderful Chinese restaurant in my neighborhood but I’m done.
Really good egg rolls!! I also tried garlic chicken and a smoothie which were good too. Quick in and out dinner spot that's not too pricey. Can't ask for more.
I ordered a hundred dollars worth of food and this is how they treat a customer? The meat was undercooked and was still slighty pink and one of the peppers had mold in them. That is disgusting! Most of the meet was undercooked. There were only two dishes that were cooked. You should be ashamed of yourself! This is not restaurant quality! I definitely won’t be ordering from this disgusting place anymore! This is very disappointing!!!!
This was disappointing- gave this place another try but I rather stick with fortune house for the price and portions.Waisted money!!!Portions are small and food is overly priced.Milk tea states it comes with tapioca but I received mine with none ! Your paying 5 bucks for a POWDERED tea with ice ….. no fresh fruit just powdered .Tried LoMein shrimp noddles …. Over cooked and salty with an overwhelming fishy taste and smell!Also ordered this sauté chicken with garlic and veggies in which was just soooo salty.Absolutely not going back only good thing I enjoyed was the fortune cookies that come with it lol
I asked for 1 item and they said I can't dine in because the order is too small. I had no place to eat. Worst customer service. This is the second time, i came with my family once and they were very rude. The slender tall aged guy who is the waiter there is very rude.
What a great selection for vegetarians and pescatarians! One of the cleanest and yummiest take outs. Try the Honey walnut shrimp and the variety of iced teas and bubble teas.
