Where’s the beef? No, seriously? Over the years it’s been less and less and they charge more and more. My fries were barely 3/4 full. I love you Portillos but can I please have some meat on my sandwich?

Portillo's has always been a place of high quality food. Pasta: love it, hot dogs: awesome, burgers: excellent, etc. However, the onion rings are a complete scam. Why a "scam" you say? Because, once you get past the incredibly crunchy outside, the onion is paper thin. Maybe even less than paper thin. Onion rings have always been one of my favorites and I've had plenty so think I have a reasonably good idea of a quality onion ring when I see it. I've had Portillo's onion rings many times and it's always the same see through onion. If you don't mind spending your cash on, what I call, onion-flavored-bread-crumb-rings, go for it.If you've got a taste for real onion rings, may I respectfully suggest Popeyes at rt 64 & 59. Yeah, I get the family size for myself, so what. They are awesome. Most Popeyes don't make them so enjoy them while you can.Portillo's has many good food options, onion rings are not one of them.

When did a beef n cheddar croissant become the same size as a hotdog? Small croissant and hardly any beef!!!! For the smaller portion and sky high prices, I’ll be going somewhere else going forward.

me encanta el servicio y las hamburguesas de ahí vale la pena

All Portillos restaurants are pretty standard nowadays. They still can throw down. The Burgers are always on point. Sometimes they can be a little on the warm side, but overall, still pretty good. The bar area here is similar to all the rest, they always gotta get a manager to pour the beer but the wait is really short. The frosty glasses are unique to Portillos, averaging between 15-16 ounces. The decor is nice, lots of old antiques and stuff, lots of neon. An older Portillos employee stopped at our table and had a nice conversation with us, asked how everything was, and this made us feel good deep down inside our souls. Shout out to that guy. Good experience overall. Definitely stop by, and don’t wait in the drive thru lanes, that’s just straight crazy. Thumbs up. ??

This was a good hot dog. I had the Chicago style, and it was good; flavorful beef. The fries were crisp as well. Great atmosphere inside the restaurant.

I went for the first time to try Portillo's after my friends and family kept telling me you have to try it. I ordered Italian beef sandwich (the big size), dry with gravy on the side and requested to be cut in half, it came a regular size(I'm not sure if that is their big size and if so, I don't want to know what their small size looks like), very wet and not cut in half. I also ordered whitefish sandwich which wasn't bad and that's why I gave it two stars and not one. And to be fair, they were crazy busy and by the drive-through which took more than 20 minutes.

service was quick despite it being so busy

This place routinely gets my order wrong, not to mention the presentation is on par with a soggy napkin stuck to your shoe. The real frosting on the cake is trying to get your money back from the items they missed, they’ll just charge you again. Next time I want to waste my time and money, I’ll just go out back and start burning cash instead.

Five stars for the ambiance. The music from the 50's and 60's goes very well with everything that's inside the building. From Neon signs to old painted signs, etc. The food is alright, I've had better hotdogs and chicken sandwiches from mom and pop's restaurants
