Great waitress. we had a table with 11 people... everyone was taken care of. Only issues were the pizza we ordered wasn't cooked to our liking. I specifically asked for well done when ordering and she repeated it but when we got it there was no color to the pizza & toppings were still hard. The food seem to take a while to get as well but in all fairness they did have a shower going on.We've been there before & the service was pretty good. Nice people.
if you're looking for some classic Chicago Tavern style thin crust pizza in Elgin these guys have been crushing it for a couple decades. Consistent in quality every time
Visited Nicks in Crystal Lake before and this Elgin location is also a nice place. The staff in both locations is awesome and very friendly. However in all places, the Pizza is so salty. I don't know if it's the sauce or maybe all salt in the toppings but that's all you taste in that pizza. A shame, because it's a good pizza, otherwise.
Walked in this place for my 1st time and it was great the decor was out outdoorsy my kids loved it. so much for them to look at ! The staff was so friendly and polite real great service! The pizza was amazing I would absolutely come here again !!
Waited almost two hours for food to arrive this evening. Called the restaurant twice to get an update. Ordered at 5:10 and food arrived at 7:00. Two managers blamed Grubhub, but when driver arrived, he had a Nick’s Pizza cap on. Pizza was ice cold.
We recently hosted a small celebration after our son's baptism. Everything about hosting this at Nick's was perfect. Lisa was very helpful in setting up the party, even with the last minute changes that are pretty common in today's environment. Day of, we were able to get into our room within minutes of them opening. We lucked into having the room to ourselves. The food was fantastic. Deanna was an excellent server, attentive and helpful at every turn. I was so glad they were open and would gladly go back for another event. Thanks to everyone at Nick's!
Came in from out of town, first time here. Took my family. Carmen was amazing. She is incredibly nice and helpful. The pizza was terrific. The interior is very nice with fireplace and awesome cabin feel to it. Loved it. Will definitely come back.
No dine-in at the moment due to COVID, but they brought food out to us while we waited in the car, despite some truly awful windy winter weather. Food was delicious, but simple - mushroom pizza for my partner, grilled chicken sandwich with fries for me. Prices were reasonable for eating out, about $40 for 4 people, and the food was hot and filling. Not the best drink options if you don't like soda/pop though. All in all a good choice. They have gluten free pizza and pasta too!
I have been a fan of Nick’s Pizza for as long as I can remember! It was always my go-to for birthday celebrations or family gatherings/reunions! I love love the pizza, cheese sticks and garlic bread! And don’t even get me started on the peanuts! The cookie dessert is amazing too! One of my most recent visits a few months ago, my family received the best service possible! I believe our server’s name was Sophie, she was so friendly and welcoming and would definitely make Australia proud! By far one of the best in the business! I will always recommend this place! Best service, hospitality, environment, food, staff, what not! I got some great memories from this iconic place and can’t wait to make many more! ??? ? ????
