Overall the food is pretty good and somewhat more authentic then you'd find at a chain restaurant. There is a slight problem with consistency of product, but it won't ruin your meal or anything. Additionally, sometimes they give you packaging that leaks, sometimes they don't. In the end, it's it's alright for the price and they are moderately quick at making food. It's worth a visit if you're in the area anyways.
I ordered the carnitas tacos with a side of beans and rice. the tacos were good, but the rice was super crunchy. Basically, undercooked. I'm all about supporting small business and I'd love to give this place another chance. maybe next time I'll walk in to order rather then door dash.

Just ordered a ground beef burrito and al pastoral tacos, through door dash. Absolutely wonderful!!! Best mexican food I have had in a while!!!
After reading reviews I decided to try this restaurant. I tried the pork tacos with very little meat and no flavor. Their large burrito was very small compared to standard burrito at other establishment's. Their cheese quesadilla was extremely salty. I would reccomend El Paraiso over any other location in this area.

Tried out Emily's on a recommendation of a friend. I told him I wanted some more authentic street type Mexican food vs something like Chipotle in the Elgin, Batavia and Geneva area. Emily's did not disappoint. The food was made fresh to order and they allowed me to alter the set plate contents. Cost is good and the wait is not bad at all if you don't call ahead. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is I want to go back and see if the consistency is there.

Overpriced for the portions, half of the kids meal ordered was not deliveried. Food is decent at best, nothing special at all, especially considering the price.
