Their food is good but overpriced. Plus you order ahead time and they still make you wait for picking your food.
Worst mexican food ever ..... Period ......This place is insult to mexican pride.Night shift employee hates his job and don't care about customer come to this restaurant for food not to give as charity to his owner. I will file complaint to BBB and elgin village for there cleaning and there half cook meat. This place is garbage.they sell half cooked cold meat at night. I ask for steak burrito. Night shift guy just warm up the burrito and didn't warm the steak. When I came back in 10 mins. Employee told me bcz it's cold outside burrito meat is cold and burrito totria is hot.

I ordered a veggie torta and a chile relleno dinner and was over charged. Online it shows a torta is $6.25 and a dinner is $14 but my receipt shows I paid $27-$28. I tried to call them but they don’t speak English so I hung up. I went to the location on McLean a week ago and got 2 burritos and a large horchata and paid $21. If I noticed the price difference I would have asked but I did not double check my receipt until I got home.
My fiancé and I just went through the drive thru to grab a late night meal (keep in mind this is our first time trying El Paraiso). Drive thru wait was pretty long but it was fine, we were okay with it. However, as we approached the ordering screen/speaker, we noticed there were NO prices on the menu- we immediately thought that was sketchy. We proceeded to order cheese fries extra crispy and a veggie burrito. After waiting for the cars ahead of us, we got to the pickup window where we got VERY grossed out by the view. Who wants to view kitchen tiles, grout, and a bunch of pots and pans while waiting to pick up their food order? Already losing my appetite, we paid $12 for our order and made sure everything was in the bag. We pulled into the parking lot to eat and as I opened my cheese fries, I noticed there was NO CHEESE. I figured they maybe had put the cheese in the bag but I didn’t find anything. My fiancé called the place as the drive thru was packed with cars but no one picked up despite 7 times of calling the restaurant. Also one last thing- our receipt has no proof of what we ordered. It simply states the price, that’s it. Very sketchy and super dissatisfied.
Great place to get some delicious Mexican food. I’ve been coming here ever since we moved to the east side (2005) it can be a little pricy but we’ll worth it. Highly recommend the Chile Relleno Burrito.
Didn’t accommodate to our request and was missing items from our order! Asked for the burrito grilled and they didn’t even bother doing it!
I love the food here. But the staff( cooks & cashiers) should keep on theirs masks when cooking or dealing with customers. Owner please tell your staff to be more safe.
Dine in or take out at 4am, they got it. All of their items I've tried tasted good. The dine in also is good as well. I typically get the taco dinner and can barely finish the tacos which are relatively larger.
