????my girl is Mexican and they charge her less tax than when I go buy food and I'm black. It's only a extra dollar every time but I also noticed the customer service when I went thru the drive thru. The lady was picking her nose then tried to give me my change so I told her to keep it and I went along my way. I definitely would refer anyone to go across st to El faro instead of these guys. The steak was chewy and tasted like it was made hrs ago. Everything was sloppy I am not satisfied at all and maybe it's because I'm blk because seems like all the migos are satisfied
Horrible! We ordered 4 arrachera burritos and they were all cold and had zero flavor. I do not recommend this place at all. They even had us pull forward as if they were taking their time to prepare them. What a surprise when they tasted as though they pulled them out of the refrigerator. Didn"t even want to give them 1 star. Elgin can do better than this for sure.
The best authentic food in Elgin. No one can compete, only one place and I'm not saying on this review, but this location is#1 in Elgin hands down!
I love how fresh the burritos are! I always order the asada and the Lomo de res with everything on it and sauces on the side. My husband loves their shredded chicken burrito with everything on it!! Whenever I am hungry for something quick and delicious I know I can come here for that ?
Been going here for years. Quality has gone downhill horribly. To top that off, they apparently cannot do two meats in a burrito because their system won’t allow it. I have been ordering the same two meat burrito for years. Seems like laziness. Sad to say I will not be returning here until they figure out new management.
Just went there and got 3 steak tacos with sour cream and a quesadilla with a side of sour cream. I get home (2 blocks up the street) and open the side of sour cream and it's yellow which was strange so I smell it and it's clearly bad, most sour smell ever, definitely expired or sat out, I go to check my tacos and can't tell if it's the cheese or sour cream that is yellowish so I take a bite hoping it was just the side that was bad, NOPE the sour cream on the taco was so bitter I threw up after my first bite ? I called to tell them that their sour cream is bad and they just say "thank you" then say do you want to come get another one... Um no thank you, I will never go there again. I can only imagine what else is expired. ? Going across the street next time.
Ordered online for pickup. Forgot half of my food and then told me they couldnt replace it and had to call the manage first. After we hung up they call back and say we can come pick up our missing food. What type of place has to check with their management to give a customer the food that THEY forgot in their order. Never eating here again. Too many options to waste my money on this place
I had a taste for tacos at 9 a.m. I sent my husband to pick us up a taco platter the meat was so bad. I believe it was left out on the grill all night, it was greasy and very hard to chew. I am so disappointed at this place. I will never ever eat from here again the beans were okay the rice was so freaking hard. It cost $30.00 for 2 platters. If you want honesty please take my advice do not eat at this restaurant you will regret it...
I live in Algonquin. This place has the best food. Anytime I am far enough South I have to stop there. The burritos are amazing. Best Mexican food in the area.
Good food, huge portions, attentive and kind staff. There was a minor snafu with a woman bussing our table while I went up to ask for a to go box (again, huge portions) but they were very cool with offering to make me an entirely new burrito free of charge (I was too full to consider it but it was very kind to offer)
