The restaurant is definitely perfect for something quick. I went here for the very first time, and the service was really fast. It is not only that, because the service is also very friendly and welcoming. The staff were so nice and they would even greet you right before you could say your order, which is really nice and definitely hospitable. The restaurant is also small, but it is extremely clean to the point that everything is in place and you will not see a single piece of trash inside. It is just a small spot, but their menu is the opposite. They have a very wide menu with a variety of options. Their menu is the type of menu where you would really think long before deciding because there are a lot of options, like what happened to me, but even after that, I just ended up having a hot dog with fries and a drink. Their menu has some good options, but I just felt like I wanted their hotdogs, which is why I decided to order them. Like I said, service was quick. The food is fresh and hot. It is very reasonable for its price. The hot dogs were good, as were the fries. Both are satisfying and comforting to eat at the same time. It also has a designated location next to the other fast food restaurants in the area. I enjoyed my entire experience at this location and will definitely return. I highly recommend this spot.
Big Sam looked just like the photo on the cups they serve. Since I have even in Chicagoland for long I'm not sure how it stacks up to a traditional idea of a Chicago dog, but I was a little underwhelmed. I played it safe getting a #1 on the menue which is like 2 Hotdogs, fries, and a drink. You can have any topping put on the hot dog you want. The Hotdogs I got were like your typical backyard cookout. Fries were good and crispy hit drink cup was a little small compared to a big fast food chain but with how bad sugar is for our bodies I guess it isn't all bad. It looked very clean inside and the menue is bigger than just hot dogs, it is worth exploring again sometime.

Such a wonderful experience! Best hot dog we've ever had!! We also tried the meatball sub and roast beef which were equally amazing! I would most definitely recommend this restaurant! We even got to have the pleasure of meeting Sammy himself which made our experience even more enjoyable! I look forward to regular visits to try more menu items! Thanks Sammy and staff!
Chicago style hotdogs are a must along with the Greek style gyro sandwich. Fries could be cooked a bit longer to make them crunchier. Shake machine requires mixing if shake contents after making shake.
The owner dropped my fries in the fryer and picked them back out of the fryer along with the bag. He made a comment about them not being any good and placed them in my package. He repeatedly made poor remarks to his Hispanic customers and staff. He thought he was being funny. It was all in poor taste. I'll never eat there again
Great food, great service, perfect spot for burgers, hotdogs and gyros. Fries are good too.

I would have to say I was very disappointed with the food in Elgin this time. I normally get good food but this time made me sick to my stomach. My burger was completely burnt, can only eat one of the three burgers. The mushrooms was like reheated, not fresh.Sorry it had be told. No one at the ship wanted to hear it l, I tried
