Staff was very friendly.Online order was ready at scheduled time.Was super stoked to try it.Ordered a Carolina pulled pork. Was not my cup of tea, to say the least. Soggy room temperature, unappealing. Just was kinda nasty, I dunno…My heart broke as a put my sandwich back down, having attempted only one bite. I swore, sitting in my car alone. Defeated. I don’t want to be the customer from heck here, but it just wasn’t alright.Really not trying to be mean or rude or not-constructive. Kinda feel bad typing up a bad review. The people were awesome, they hooked me up with three different sauces which was cool, maybe it was just a bad day for whatever I ordered.Super bummed about it actually. Had I known it was gonna be like that, I would have figured out something else. Or picked a different item. I dunno. I’m still working through some feelings about it.
Went here for lunch today. Previously I had only been to the location on Olive, which is just wonderful! I will not go back to Edwardsville. The food was mediocre at best. The coleslaw and mixed veggies left a lot to be desired. No seasoning at all for the veggies and not a good variety of veggies. The coleslaw had a very strange taste. Not sure if it was a spice I couldn’t place or old but either way it was not pleasant. The lettuce my “smoked salmon” sat on was pitiful. Brown and wilted and the salmon looked exactly like what I buy from Sam’s in the frozen food dept. I actually took it back up to the kitchen. Furthermore, the floor was sticky throughout and our order numbers we had to sit on the table were filthy. I fear Sugarfire let loose of their quality control when they started opening additional locations. Very disappointing.
My wife is finally back to me again, yes she is back with all her hearts, Love, care, emotions and flowers and things are better now. Pulled pork delicious but the potato salad not quite up to par it was a little much mayo not as good as it usually is. Whoever made it today needs to check the recipe. The staff is friendly and always ready when I come pick up
We highly recommend Sugarfire BBQ! The food is AMAZING, and the staff are great. You definitely won’t leave hungry! I watched the worker make the huge bowl of fresh potato salad, it was delicious! All the sauces are wonderful too. Great place to dine. Delicious BBQ!!!!

The last couple of times I've been here the food was just OK. Last time I got the taco's that were advertised on Facebook. In the picture they looked delicious. Didn't even look close to the picture when I got them. Taste was a disappointment. So this visit I took a buddy there from out of town. We both got the brisket plate. The young lady got out a fresh brisket all wrapped up. Looked great on the outside. I got baked beans and potato salad. The brisket was overdone and dry. The potato salad didn't have a taste. The baked beans tasted and looked like they sat in a crock pot all day and were overdone. My buddies mac and cheese was probably the best thing we both got. I'm wondering if Sugar Fire has gotten so big now that they have lost their luster. Hope not.
Room temperature meat… tasteless. The brisket was mostly pure fat so we hardly ate it. It was a waste. Dry, bland pork & turkey. Bland potato salad. Mac n cheese just so so. The corn bread, cream soda & bbq sauces were good. The atmosphere is nice. We won’t be going back. There are better bbq places nearby, in my opinion.
Great ribs. Fantastic range of sauces. The Buffalo chicken dip as a side was spectacular. Even the tortilla chips were good. Their beans were good. Unfortunately, the brisket was dry. Two pretty good sized slices, but just kind of dry. More like a roast than a brisket. But the ribs and sauce made the meal. Very tender and delicious.
Everything was cold, except the beer. Hamburger was raw. Mission BBQ has these guys completely beat. First bad review that I have ever done. (Warm the trays, folks.
