The lady taking orders in drive through is always wonderful.The girl at the second window with the red and brown hair has terrible customer service skills.Never says thank you, have a good day, nothing but ....here's your order and slams the window.
The customer service here is absolutely atrocious!! The young girls answering the drive thru have such a nasty attitude. I will drive to a whole nother town before I go here. It happened more than twice so I know it's not just someone "having a hard day" which I get, sometimes I don't wanna work either. Something seriously needs to be done.
this McDonald's has went from bad to absolutely horrible over the past couple years. I always and I mean always have problems with this location. tonight was the last straw for me and I will never be back. let's start with I order my food and am told to pull forward without a total. no big deal. I get to the window and the kid asks me if I ordered the 1050? I tell him I don't know what a 1050 is. he looks at me like I'm an idiot. before I could say what I ordered the kid behind him is laughing making fun of him for the way he said what he said. the kid making fun of him said your total is 10.50. yoy ordered the (.....blank blank blank) yes I did. I hand the first kid my money and he takes it and turns around and starts pushing the kid the made fun of him and horseplaying around. I just stare in amazement at what's going on. the kid finally gets my change and doesn't say a word. no hey. no thanks have a nice day no nothing. not polite at all. but hey it's McDonald's and at this location I'm lucky the kid even talked to me. so I pull to the next window and have to wait 5 minutes to get my food because he said it's( still cooking) finally get my food and pop a fry in my mouth before even leaving the window and won't you know it the fries aren't even warm let alone hot and fresh. I just shake my head and drive home. I usually would sit down and have some food but this location doesn't allow you inside McDonald's for some weird reason. so I get home and throw my fries in the trash because we all know that cold McDonald's fries are horrible. so now I sit down to enjoy my double quarter pounder . I pop the TV on and grab a napkin and begin to take my first bite and I'm overwhelmed by the taste of salt. McDonald's is always salty but this was like the burger was cooked in salt after marinating in a salt bath for 10 days. I'm freaking livid at this point. I stand up and walk to my trash can and throw the salt with a side of burger in the trash right next to the large order of cold fries. 10.50 for this meal and I was able to push down 1 fry and one bite of a block of salt. absolutely horrible service and even worse product. this location is know as the east saint louis location of edwardsville. if only they'd just move it there because I'm sick of wasting my money here only to have an now spend more money on something that I can actually eat. and since I'm home and don't want to get back out I'll have to pay to have it delivered as well. thanks McDonald's. thanks for screwing me over once again and taken my money and giving me something that the dumpster wouldn't even allow inside it. You'll never get my money again!!! never !!!
Almost always a long line so it takes a while, even if you order ahead in the app, on the plus side tho the food is usually fresh.
Messed up my meal girl was on her phone the whole time and the girl handling my food had her hands in her hair the whole
nothing worse than trying to return fries that are cold and getting an answer of "what do you want me to do about it?"That is a BS response
This McDonald’s was doing great during the height of the pandemic! However, seems like back to old ways with leaving out condiments for nuggets & forgetting items- wouldn’t mind but I asked at the speaker to make sure the condiments were in the bag and they charged me for them. I also had to ask for the rest of my order (the sandwiches & burgers) because they only gave me a bag full of fries and a “have a good day”.
For the most part they are on top of things. Every now and again they ate short staffed and can make the experience unpleasant
The drive through always has a wait. Other than the lobby being closed due to covid it's a fine McDonald's. Not the best not the worst.
If you decide to go through drive thru at this particular location, please be aware that the people working drive thru cannot hear (or distinguish) the ding that a car driving up causes, in the outside drive thru lane. So heads up that if you are an unfortunate soul that gets in this lane, say something into the speaker, because they don’t know you’re there and after speaking to management last night, they really don’t seem to care. In fact, she said this happens all the time. Maybe they should fix it!!
