This place is phenomenal! Kind staff, prices are decent for a smokehouse. They're usually outrageous. It's our favorite BBQ place right now!
Went on a Friday evening to location in Edwardsville. They were out of ribs but I tried the Lotta Bull burger and was amazed! Fantastic flavor and huge. The sweet potato fries were delicious. Wife had rib tips and they were tender and the sauce was great. Staff was very friendly and personable. Definitely will come back
I have been wanting to visit this place for sometime. Everytime I come up from Florida I run out of time. This time I made the time and I am glad I did.....Probably THE best pulled pork I have ever had. Ever!I got two pounds of it and it was enough to serve 10 sandwiches. It was so good I just ate it by itself. Perfect flavor and wasn't dried out.Just when I thought it couldn't get better....the burnt ends....OH MY GOODNESS....OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING!!!! The flavor. The texture. Did I mention AMAZING??? I got a pound of those and ate it like candy with my fingers.Also got a rack of ribs. They were perfectly flavored and fell off the bone. This place did NOT disappoint. My only disappointment was that it took me so long to go there. This place is a MUST!!!!I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
Can't say enough about how amazing this place is. Their smoked hamburgers are worth every penny and more. Love their sweet potato fries and especially their brisket. Out of every BBQ place I've been to throughout the USA...i miss this one the most.
My first time here, so I'm all about that first impression. The food was good, I test drove the black Angus brisket burger. Definitely worth checking out, the people skills could use a little help though. While waiting on the food I felt like I was forgotten about, had to wait on my food to be delivered before I even got a refill on my drink. Might just be the way they do things there.
Eddyville has plenty of BBQ options, and Doc's is a welcome addition. It is smaller than some other spaces, but that also means shorter wait times for the food. They have pretty standard fare so go with your traditional favorite (get the sliced chicken over the pulled!). The staff was very efficient and friendly.
Perhaps the pandemic has just ruined everything. This is not a sit down take order kind of place. There are no adult beverages. It's just ok BBQ. Service was slow. Girl taking the orders was cheerful. Was clean enough.
No line when we arrived, but that quickly changed. The food was average. Our meals came fairly quickly, but the other couple finally had to ask where theirs was. Price was a little higher than we felt it should be. Had to ask for BBQ sauce and jalapenos.
Doc’s never disappoints! Food was great, as usual!
I thought I would have a beer at the bar and order a to-go order. Nope, they do not serve alcohol. After placing my order, it was very fast, maybe 10 minutes. They packed utensils as well. The corn pudding was amazing. One dinner made two meals.
