Chicken was good as usual but the fritters were not fresh. I drove 30 minutes to get them, opened them immediately in the car for a taste and found them lukewarm. Disappointing for the drive.
Simple less battered fried chicken compared to other chicken place. Chicken are always freshly made along with little corn fritters that I can't help myself to dig in the bag the moment I get into my car. This place is small and for pick up only no tables to dine in. They also open for 4 hours during the weekday closed on Monday but as a note the restaurant closes at 8 pm. Aside from chicken they have also offered beer battered fried cod fish and fried shrimp, mashed potatoes and fries. You can order for catering but you need to call the restaurant ahead if you're ordering 50 pcs or more . They don't do delivery no curbside pick up and no drive thru.
It is what it is. You know what you are getting when you come here. Good food banged out pretty quick, that tastes exactly like it did thirty years ago. ??
Best chicken in the Chicago area hands down. This location always has my food ready fresh and delicious ready for pick up. Thank you! Will continue coming back!
The saltiest fried chicken I've ever had, so inedible. The mashed potatoes and gravy was gravy covered in a weird highlighter yellow butter sauce- not gravy. I completely regret having wasted my money here
An elderly lady now works there and she sits, touching her mouth and nose with her hand and does not wash before touching your food. She is also rude on the phone and will hang up on you if she can’t hear you. She seems to do this on purpose and is looking for a conflict. She is horribly rude and unacceptable in this industry. The food is overcooked and coleslaw is dry. The kidney bean salad; however, is good. Do not go here for you food until this establishment can resurrected its self to once was its former glory.
Order online for the quickest service. Staff was very polite. An old time favorite fried chicken place. Don't forget your corn fritters.
Food is out of question. Aside from that the wait time is minimal and always on time when order via phone.
Had a taste for fritters and White Fence Farm definitely doesn't disappoint. An order of a dozen is $2.00 and they don't count them out but, rather, throw in a generous scoop. Hot, melting powdered sugar,, every order freshly made.
My husband was craving fried chicken and came across a list of the best fried chicken places in the Chicago suburbs. This place was listed so we decided to give it a try. Major disappointment. The chicken just was not very good but the corn fritters were decent. I will say, the guy who took our order over the phone and then gave me our food at the store was SO nice and I really like nice people. He’s really the reason I would give it 3 stars. That and the fact I couldn’t stop eating the corn fritters.
