Been in the west suburbs for 10 plus years and continually keep coming back. They are a classic hot dog stand with good hot dogs, burgers, gyros and turkey burgers. But the real reason we now come from Glen Ellyn is the hand cut fries. Legit the perfect fry, hand cut, double fried, crispy outside, fluffy middle.
Great Chicago Dogs and the best hand-cut crispy fries! I grew up in Chicago and know what a Chicago-style dog is supposed to taste like and this is it! Very fast service! I ordered the 2-dog special and was out of there in 3 mins. Like others, thought it was slightly on the higher side, but well worth it. I'm certainly coming here again and recommending them to everyone I know in the area.
Great Chicago dogs. Prices higher than we're used to, but it is closer to the city and costs are going up all over. One star off for lukewarm service. Not rude. Not slow. Kind of like we were cousin Eddie visiting the Griswolds. Maybe the slight language barrier? At least smile like you're happy you have customers. End note: Ignore the sulky service. dogs are great, good snap. Clean place. Would go again. ?
Really great place. The food is top notch. Everything I've tried so far has been great. The gyros value/bang for your buck cant be beat, just chef's kiss levels of wonderful. Delicious and fed me and my wife, then me again over multiple meals and I am not tiny, lol. ?.
Everything you want in a Chicago dog in a fun, retro styled place. A must go
Hot dog was decent, burger was good but the bun was a bit much. Fries needed a bit more salt. Need to try the shake though.
Burnt food. Old oil for frys. Slow. Burger was like an italian beef but it was from the sauce not the burger juice.
Friendly register order was done as asked. Food was preped and served as the same time and they have bottles of sodas as well as fountain drinks.Great food!
I ordered a burger which was very Soggy and made me sick feeling after. Only ate half, buddy ordered same thing didn't finish his. I'm sure Dogs are good, unless i got unlucky with the burgers not sure if i would make it back in again.
Great place to stop after the Morton Arboretum. The fries were worth the stop alone. We had an Italian Beef and a Chili Dog and it was all delicious.
