This place is disgusting. It smells like homeless people inside. Also they have the AC on 40 degrees blowing right into your tummy, when it's 45 degrees F outside. Most disgusting experience I had in a while ??

Great place to get good food and beverages while relaxing in a comfortable place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Friendliest coffee shop I've ever been to. Large outdoor seating area (in the shade - great in summer) for temperate weather. Almost always busy, lots of table space to plop down the laptop and do some study/work/surf.Good selection of breakfast items, sandwiches and snacks to go along with the coffee and cold drinks.

Peet's serves excellent coffee. There are a number of options for plain coffee, all of which are distinct and interesting. Their espresso drinks also boasts numerous options all of which are expertly prepared. Best of all Peet's coffee and espresso do not have the burned aftertaste present in a certain other coffeeshop's drinks

Overall a good experience. Lots of room to spread out and get some work done with lots of seating. Espresso was great with a hint of sweetness behind it. Paid a little over $3 which is reasonable. Bakery looked enticing to try out. Staff is nice and service is quick. Not a bad coffee shop if you're in downtown Downers Grove!

Just a quick coffee stop. Employees were nice and helpful. Place was nice and clean. Peet's coffee also had outside seating. Would return to Peet's Coffee again in the future.

The nicest people work here! My cashier was so friendly and the barista on duty yesterday was so kind. One of them was Brittany! These jobs are so difficult right now, it’s certainly not for the faint of heart. The Havana (sp?) cappuccino/matcha was awesome. I hope life brings happiness and fulfillment to the baristas here, they deserve the world and all the joy it can bring :)

Tried their yuzu tea thing was really good considering I'm not a tea drinker. Highly recommend

Nice coffee and more. Was not very crowded, and it had outside seating.

Coffee and snacks are fine, but management is awful. I was in the middle of ordering my drink when I was interrupted by the manager asking if I had a mask. I responded with no, and I was told to get one at the front. I asked if I could finish paying for my order and was told 'no'. At this point I should've walked out. I asked if they knew that I would be removing the mask once I get the drink 30 seconds later. Funny enough, during this very conversation, all the customers who already ordered did not have a mask on. It's a confusing concept. I guess covid can't get ya if you have a coffee in hand? I'd recommend going to a local coffee shop that has common sense rather than Peets.
