I only gave one star because the staff managers are excellent. The same cannot be said for the store manager. Each time I order a salad, the dressing is incorrectly placed into the container even though I request that it be placed outside of the container unless I go into the cafe and advise the person making the salad that I want the dressing containers to be placed outside the salad container. I do not want the plastic dressing containers touching the salad. When I advised the cafe manager of this, he replied that this happens because most people don't make this request. Instead of saying this, he should have said that he would ask the staff to be certain to read the special instructions. In addition, if one of the ingredients in a salad is missing, you are not entitled to substitute another ingredient nor are you entitled to a price reduction.
After giving up on Panera a few years ago (too many inconsistencies) I decided to try it today.I ordered the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich on tomato basil bread.The top crust of the bread had cinnamon roll icing on it.Completely disgusting and a waste of $9.00.I'm giving up forever now.
Most of my order was entirely wrong. Ordered the $12 chicken sandwich, soup, and a grilled cheese for coworkers. All the chicken sandwich came with was bread & chicken, and we didn’t even get the grilled cheese. The only thing that was correct was the soup, probably because it comes frozen. We can’t drive back to get a refund because we don’t get off of work until after they close.
Lorena is the best. Her customers service is the best. Takes care of us every time. Food is always fresh
Doesn't even deserve one star. Not a busy time, dirty dishes on tables & by garbage, no straws at beverage counter all staff sitting around doing nothing. Get home and order not complete. My bad for not checking.
Panera is my favorite fast food restaurant. I love the ability to order via the app and pick it up.
EVERY TIME I order here they get it wrong. I don't mean they didn't put extra mayo on my sandwich like I asked but that I order Chicken Noodle Soup and I get Chili. It is worse if you order it for delivery. You end up having to go there anyways to get the food you actually ordered. This has happened 4 times and it is ridiculous. They never said sorry or offered a discount except one time they gave me a free cookie (cookie cost less then what I spent to have it delivered) and I can't even eat cookies. It also has happened to my co-workers every time we order. They like to blame the computer system, I guess they forget that your receipt is on the bag and it says exactly what you ordered. I do not blame the employees it is a management issue!!!

Nice place, bad attendance and organization. We arrived and no one was there to attend. After 5 minutes I went to the kitchen asking for service and a female came with a bad attitude and a male was saying something out loud. I assume it was not their positions anyhow that's not the way to service.
Harrible, abusive service. First, I came with my friend and we had to wait for a long time before somebody will come to help us. The woman, who served us did it so rude that spoiled all the mood. No smile, no polite, rude tone, don't advice you and your friends Panera in Downers Grove.
