DOWNERS DELIGHT REVIEW- This is a fun place for comfort food. There is a wide variety on the menu and we enjoyed our meal. My seven year old (picky eater) ate a whole bowl of kids pasta. And she asked to go back a few days later! We will definitely be back.Pics are from the new cafe.

This place is one of my most favorite places and has been for 20 some years. From breakfast with friends or lunch with family or a midweek dinner date with my husband....I've never been disappointed. The staff is sweet and attentive and the food is comforting and so delicious.

Charged a 4% service fee to use a credit card and I didn't see it posted anywhere. And, they sneak it in there and fold up your receipt and don't have you sign it. Prices have skyrocketed and we had to beg for a server. NEVER AGAIN!

Beware if you are not a regular here. Price gouging seems to be the name of the game for newcomers. For a couple of regular breakfast meals of omelettes and eggs, two sandwiches and one set of pancakes we were charged 100 bucks! The check was poorly written and could not be followed or interrogated. We didn't want to make a scene in front of the kids and wanted to have a relaxing morning, but the experience just leaves a bad taste. Diners should never be this expensive - older people that eat at diners would never be able to afford these prices.

STAY AWAY from this place. What you usually pay in a diner, you’ll pay double here. The waiter who attended our table charged us double for no reason only because we had a small request for a non-dairy meal that was $11.49 on the menu. $100 for a subpar breakfast? Absolutely unacceptable!

The food is great for the price! More importantly to me, the service is fantastic and caring! Very clean and happy environment!

Love this place! My 11 yr old daughter's favorite place too. Great breakfasts, lunch, dinners. Big portions. Fresh. Great quality. My mom goes here just for the Saganaki(Greek flaming cheese). They buy it in a huge block and cut it fresh when you order. So Good!

Nice clean atmosphere. Very good service. Good amount of food for the money and very good taste

Amazing breakfast. I always recommend the saganaki or baked French onion soup and the skillets are GREAT. I come basically weekly.

Don't hesitate to go to Downer's Delight! Their breakfast is on point! Also love all their soups! My faves are the cream of chicken rice soup and cream of chicken tortellini! Honestly, everything they make is top notch because trust me Jimmy the owner established an environment of top quality in everything they prepare!
