We visited the Downers Grove Farmers Market and purchased the wheat bread they were selling. It was amazingly delicious and has had a good shelf life in our frig, too. It is well worth the cost of over $7 for this loaf of freshly made bread.
They have delicious sandwiches. Service here is great too — they’re very friendly. They have desserts and more at the counter. Each time I go, they always offer me samples and sometimes even a free item…isn’t that nice? Makes for a friendly atmosphere.
Denise was outstanding in her Customer Service. I went for some yummy Dakota Bread, with 5 different grains in it, and Denise include some samples of Monkey Bread and an additional 2 other treats!
Driving through downers grove downtown and noticed and awesome bakery & cafe and decided to stop in for the first time to check this place out, and will never ever be back here ever again!!!! I stepped in the cafe the first thing the blonde older lady said was "what do you need"?? so i told her its my first time here and she was sweeping and looking at me like I am intruding her or something... I told her that I will be leaving and not even going to try anything because of how rude she is!!! is this new customer service??? who are you kidding treating your customers like that!!!
Finally stopped in for a quick lunch and I regret not coming sooner. Everyone who works there is so friendly and so helpful. All wearing masks. Food was unbelievably fresh and scrumptious. Have been back a couple times now and will continue coming back! Lovely environment and love to support local. They also have a rewards program to get a free item! Stop by or you're missing out!
This whole store is amazing. Everyone who works here is awesome especially Denise the manager. I usually order Asiago Bread and it’s always good!!
This place has delicious bread, but also incredible customer service! Everyone I've interacted with has been so kind and helpful, and Denise truly went out of her way to make sure I got the bread I had been craving. Don't skip the cinnamon swirl bread or the Asiago foccacia either - but everything I've had has been amazing. SO HAPPY this location is here and I recommend to literally everyone I know ?
