Our to go food was dissapointing.I have never seen a pasta carbonara made with heavy cream and peas ! That is everything but not a pasta carbonara.Please re name it !
Right in the heart of downers grove, capri's atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our dining experience was lovely, the server was very attentive and helpful. We got our drinks which were super tasty, then the food came out which was fresh & flavourful. All in all we can't wait to go back.
Quaint, intimate restaurant in Downers Grove with many different food options across the entire menu. Friendly and knowledgeable staff made our stay feel like dinner with family, the good side of the family anyway. Sorry wifey. They also held some excellent wine choices, and the bartender, Adrian, a modern day alchemist, will concoct anything you wish.
My family and I were looking to get together to have a nice Italian dinner on a Tuesday. This Capri of DG Restaurant appears ‘authentic’ but we’d have much better luck ordering out at Sarpinos. This is no joke. I’m not one to write reviews.. but I’ve never tasted a more pathetic excuse for Italian food. My noodles had white pigment as a result of freezer burn. My meat balls were FROZEN inside. I sent back my plate to be told by the belligerent general manager that he will send me a gift card in the mail and asked for my address. Declined the offer, would never release my address to a business like this and would never eat here even if it was for free. This place is disgusting. Never recommended.

Worst place I ever ate at. Went in with my family for what I thought would be great experience but it was nothing but Cold Food served to us. Olive Garden is 20x better in my preference. Will never eat here again. Bad costumer service bad food. Don’t waste your time like I did.
