The worst place to do any event. We had booked a wedding reception at Ashyana, and they made promises which they did not deliver on: things that were part of the contract and were paid for in advance. We had expected a buffet style dinner, but were informed by our guests that food was not refilled in a timely manner. A majority of the biryani that we were served was mostly rice and minimal meat. We had also had an agreement in our contract that we would have 4 reserved tables for the bridal party and immediate family and when we arrived, those tables were not even marked as such. Waiters were unprofessional and did not upkeep the food.
I attended wedding last Sunday 4/24/22 . It was very very disappointing with food and service. They only keep food out for 1hr so there was many people hadn't eat . If you ever decide to book this banquets plz make sure everything before you book with them ,coz they will make you wait till your event come closer. I have to give one star bcz there is no option to fo 0. My suggestion is to find something else. I think they ruined his wedding event. Very very sad ..
Ashyana catered our wedding lunch. Highly recommended for the transparency, service, and taste. Our guests were very complementary of the food.
Decent banquet facility for weddings, showers, birthdays and any other celebrations. Has about 2-3 diiferent halls.A separate restaurant named Shikara offers all you can eat buffet style East Indian cusines.
I WENT TO CHICAGO FOR MY MUSIC COMPETITION-AND TRY ASHYANA BANQUET HALL RESTURANT FOOD AND FOOD WAS AMAZING BUT THEI 1 OLD SERVICE GUY WAs RUDE. HE HAS NO IDEA HOW TO TALK WITH CUSTOMERS, DIDN’T LEARN ANY MANNERS.I WENT FOR BUFFET WITH MY 2 OTHER CONTESTANTS,WHILE I WAS HAVING FOOD AND MIDDLE OF MY DINNER ROCKY NAME GUY CAME AND TOLD ME TO PAY AT ONCE, AND I SAID LET ME FINISH MY FOOD HE RUDELY SAID YOU HAVE TO PAY NOW. I WAS SO MAD ? PAY HIM, THEN COMPLAIN THE OWNER. SEEMS LIKE HE IS OK WITH THAT, HE DIDN’T TAKE ANY ACTION. HORRIBLE SERVICE.
We have hosted 2 events at Ashyana in the past 2.5 years and both experiences have been amazing. We had our wedding reception and our daughters first bday party here. I have worked with Samar Jain for both of the events and he knows how to get the job done. He will go above and beyond to make sure you and your guests have the best of times. Customer service is amazing, the food is always spot on and you are treated like a family. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a Indian banquet in Chicagoland.We also have used Ashyana catering and that was also a great experience!
Samar gave us good communication throughout the stressful wedding preparation process, he clearly has had experience through hundreds of weddings, including his own his own. He was able to give us insight on other parts of the wedding process outside of catering which was helpful. Prices were quite reasonable and I appreciated his frequent email communication. He was flexible on the day of with changes in planning and was a calm presence during the wedding day. Would definitely use him for future events.
Great place for events.
Great food provided by Ashyana banquets and caterers, for the 1st birthday party of our son. Food tasted really nice and everyone at the party was quite complimentary of it. Their on-site person was also very helpful. Highly recommend!
Good large sized venue for events. Ample parking space. Free WiFi for vendors. Good sized toilets and they were clean. Lovely decor in the rooms, especially the cloud ceiling on one of them.
