Mom and Pop restaurant where the wait staff is their adult children. Charcoal grills at your table, so you may be in for a wait while the charcoal is prepared, but it's well worth it. A good variety of side dishes too and they brought us more of our favorite ones. (Best kimchi I've ever had!) This is not a place to go if you are in a hurry but we enjoyed every minute we spent there.

I love the environment here, food is good. I don’t like sea food myself but the steak was great. The owner was able to seat us quickly on a busy night

It's probably a better idea to come with a big group. However if you're an asthmatic or is sensitive to smokey places don't go. I think the bulgogi was good just small platter. Didn't really like the soups too much but it was an OK place to eat. This is just better if you're going in a big party as oppose to a date night. Seafood pancake was good.

Good experience at this place overall. Staff are very welcoming even though they are quite busy and forgot some food occasionally. Foods are good, including kalbi, cold noodles, and stir-fry octopus. They serve free drinks similar to Yakult when you finish the dinner. One hint, it’s quite smoky here cause it’s the charcoal BBQ. Authentic Korean vibe.

Had an amazing dinner tonight, flavors are on point. This is the most authentic Korean food I have had since being in Illinois for the last 10 months. I'm half Korean and it reminds me so much of my childhood. Not salty, you can make it as spicy or no spice at all. Great staff, very kind and inviting. Will definently be back for more. ? I would recommend this homey place to anyone wanting an amazing dinner, night out, lunch break, gathering of friends and Great food.

There's a lot of KBBQ places in the area and we've tried them all. We always come back to New Seoul for the Galbi, the Dwaeji bulgogi and the fact their table top grill uses charcoal. You just can't beat that flavor.

Came with my daughter for dinner, very nice people. The side dishes were so good! So was the meat and tofu pot.

Went in on Dec.24 2021. The food was delicious! Meal started off with a hot tea. Menu is pretty easy to for non Koreans. We had the brisket and the prime beef. Highly recommend the prime beef. We also had a hot noodle soup. The sides were really good and complimented the meats well. Service was good. We got complimentary gator drink which was nice. It is on the pricier side but it’s worth it.

New Seoul Korean BBQ is great food but the Ambiance is really middle of the road. The Korean barbecue it's done over coals. Our experience was a little too smoky for me. The fans did not adequately ventilate our area. With that said, still a great place to enjoy authentic cuisine. We had a large group and they strive for and mostly achieved good service.
