Hugoâs never disappoints. It is our favorite destination for birthdays and bringing special friends from out of town. The food is excellent and the staff goes out of their way to provide a memorable dining experience.

It should be made clear that this restaurant is inside the Rivers Casino - no outside entrance or signage. That means walking through a maze of blinking lights and ringing bells to and from dinner. The service was good - itâs mechanical at places like Hugoâs. They have their go-to stuff - itâs solid - nothing that interesting. Bread was good - we ate not much and the bill was $120 ish. Iâd say there are lots better options in the area - unless youâre already at the casino - then itâs a fine choice.
Overrated steaks. Overpriced. Chilled bread. Chilled butter. Had to flag down server every time. Overrated. Period.

I imagine the Rush Street location is much better. This felt like they dialed it in, since itâs in a casino. Service was rough. Served bread ice cold. Drinks werenât very tasty. Best item by far wAs the crab cake.

The food was delicious as always but I was not pleased with the Lobster bisque soup, want try it again.
