I liked this place it is like family . I actually loved the food was fresh and tasty. I was sitting eating I saw group of old ladies walking in right away from the middle if the resturant the staff was saying ? hi calling them by their name that was so kind and lovely to know your customers it felt like walking into your house ? ?
This place is proudly Family Owned. I love that. The vibe makes YOU feel like family, waitstaff is friendly, patient and diligent. I had the BEST chilaquiles I ever had a restaurant in my life! I will definitely be back lots. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Cute little diner with a huge menu and great service. Maria is the best. Food is hot and reasonably priced! Open daily 7am-3pm!
Excellent food and service. I would go there right now. Very good, very filling. Big enough to fit multiple groups but small enough to feel like your at family.
The food was great and the service excellent. Don’t judge this place by the outside it is very nice inside. Check it out for yourself your will glad you did.
The pancakes were so good they made me lisp. My emotional support surveillance birds ate up every bite. They mumbled in excitement at our waitress in approval. Their bacon could be better, it was salty. Their restaurant atmosphere is dusty but the food is satisfactory. The coffee was okay. Standard diner coffee, really. If I could go to any panqueque established mint this would be the one and the only.

Don't be deceived by outside look to restaurant. Very large menu with lots of Mexican touches. The restaurant was clean, the restrooms were clean, staff was delightful. I had baked oatmeal and hubby had a zucchini omelet. Both items were tasty.
My husband and I visit this place on a regular basis and it's our favorite go to breakfast place of all times since we moved to Des Plaines. The service is excellent here and the food is delicious. Maria is amazing at her job and we feel so homely and nice starting our mornings with Des Plaines pancake house. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and brunch ❤
This place wasn't very good. I ordered Blueberry pancakes that said there were Blueberries in the batter. That was false. It looked like someone put Blueberries on the plate and then put the Pancake over it. I ordered the Romano chicken, the chicken was dry and the sauce was lacking in flavor. There was a shell piece In my husband's eggs, and he said the bacon tasted as if it was cooked in a pan with something else. The bill was over $36.00, which is over priced for the quality of food. This place seems to have tons of good reviews, which is why we decided to try it. I'm not so sure all those reviews are true but I can't say for sure. We will not be back and wouldn't recommend this place either.
