La Salsa just moved locations to be located right on Lucinda Avenue, making it the perfect place for students to grab a bite to eat after class. The food was very tasty, although the staff was fairly unattentive and it was somewhat unclear how we were supposed to find a seat, pay, or order our food. We eventually were told we could seat ourselves, and later were waiting to order for quite a few minutes. Aside from that, the atmosphere is a bit odd, as there are not enough tables for the amount of room they have now, so it felt deserted. That being said, I am sure this may be addressed in time, and the food is good enough for it to be worth it anyways.
I used to eat at the previous location. And nothing has changed, the taste has remained the same. Love eating at this place
Really good food for a reasonable price and the family running it is very nice
Love their food, best Mexican food in Dekalb IMO
This is a convenient stop on the way home with great food for a good price. The service was friendly and my food was ready very quickly. I will continue to stop in on my way back from class.
Don’t recommend at all, I waited an hour and a half for one singular burrito and asked about it multiple times and they were vague and unapologetic
The authenticity of the food is AMAZING
Best place in the area for mexican food. Seriously. The best.
Best food in town. Made with love.
Chicken burrito is basically a basic unseasoned BLT w/ chicken in a tortilla wrap. Maybe the best Mexican food in town if you've been nowhere else. At least, it's a good value and appears fresh.
