Fabulous Food and Inviting Atmosphere. Lobster Bisque and Mussel’s were Superb. Our waiter was Amazing and all staff were friendly with smiling faces. Had a Great time! Thank you Gin Mill!
We came to the gin mill for lunch and it was awesome. The vibe was classy but comfortable and our server Loraine was great. The beer was mostly local which was really cool and the ones we tried were absolutely delicious, I had sunspun shandy. We had a steak sandwich and some fish tacos that all tasted like very good pub food. We had a great time, had great service and most importantly great food and drinks. This should be everyone’s date spot.
Great food and atmosphere with a very friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant was very tastefully decorated and we found plenty of variety for our table of 9.I had the Barbecue Bacon-wrapped Pork Medallions and they were as amazing as they sound. Rounded off with a Black Butte Porter and it was a meal to remember.My only negative thing to say is being picky, but I'm a dark beer drinker and there was nothing dark on the draft menu. But you can't please everyone, so I'm certain the selection was crafted to please as many as possible.
Incredible food, great atmosphere and excellent service. Ordered appetizers and Beef Blackstone for an entree. All food was served promptly. Waitress was incredible and very attentive to refills when needed. Reservations encouraged as it was fairly busy on a Thursday night.
Amazing Apps and Steaks! We had a awesome experience at the Gin Mill. From our waitresses Alexis to the great food! When had the Bang Bang Shrimp, Alligator Bites and a couple ribeyes. Don't forget to get some of that delicious garlic bread too.
Outstanding every time. Bartender on point, food on point, atmosphere on point. Super chill, high quality food. Does cost more, but why pay maybe $20 less and get bad food and service. The quality and establishment is well worth the extra money.
Really good bar style restaurant. We visited mid-afternoon and there were other several other tables eating, which seems like a good thing for a restaurant in a small town. Food was great, including the house chips. I will be back if I need to pass through Decatur again.
Amazing, steak was a little fatty but other than that great food and service. Try the Calamari for an appetizer. Bubble stash IPA was very good as well.
