We were told that they were “overbooked” because of graduation so they wouldn’t sit us, but there were many tables available, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. We then get to the bar and were told by Kaitlyn at the bar that they did not serve food at the bar, so we order drinks, and half way through a guest that sat next to us moments after we sat at the bar gets her Ceaser salad. I call Kaitlyn over to ask why this guest was served food at the bar after she said they don’t serve food and she replied “she has been here a long time and ordered food” (when we knew that’s not the case) Kaitlyn also said she only got a Ceaser salad but later this guest received her steak and sides. By this time had been talking to the guest and she and I also questioned why they wouldn’t serve our party food at the bar, she was confused since she arrived after us since. Just plain rude..
Love Taproot. The food is great. The hot rock app is so good. The service wasn't fantastic the last time we went, but was normally is.

I went with my sister and 6 other women. We were all happy with our meals. After my sister and I sent our filet mignon back they were excellent. The service left a little to be desired but it's possible they are like many businesses who just can't get enough help.
Excellent food and service. I had the pasta. My companions had other dishes. They were all delicious.

Service was great and the food phenomenal. My new favorite cocktail is the Salted Carmel White Russian with Merchant Street Martini close second. Menu offered a variety of tastes and was hard choose. Everything looked so good. We decided on the Butcher's Steak. We were not disappointed. I had the Surf and Turf version with asparagus and mashed potatoes. We started with lightly breaded broccoli for appetizer. Decor warm with artistic touch. Highly recommend.
We just had my friend's surprise 40th birthday party at Taproot. The staff and kitchen was more than accommodating. We had more than 20 people in attendance and the food was DELICIOUS. Also, our server, Collin remained cool and calm throughout the entire meal and we are a hectic bunch
food is delicious, drinks stiff & ambiance perfect for an anniversary. definitely will go back.
