Worst service I’ve ever had.Walk in, only 1 table has people at it. Literally, not figuratively, every other table was covered with dirty dishes. Waitress sitting and talking to the only people there. Told to sit anywhere and they’d get around to cleaning it. That took 15 minutes and only after I started stacking dishes on another table myself.Ordered at the 20 minute mark. 40 minute mark the rest of the tables start getting cleared. We were told it’d be just a couple minutes more. At the 60 minute mark, another table was served that had come in after and we asked where our order was. We were told “it’d be another 10 minutes.” For eggs and hashbrowns. 50 minutes for that? Will not be returning.
Might just be me, but the food did not sit well with me at all. Staff was friendly!

This is the best restaurant in Decatur has to offer, the food is overwhelming and the service is outstanding!!I will recommend this to anyone and everyone, if you want to Chow down and you want to spend a little money doing so, then check out New Moon Cafe, they are the bomb!!

Went to the New Moon for breakfast. They were so friendly. Service was great, food was excellent. We were there chatting for a couple hours and they took care of us, refilled our drinks and checked on us a lot. Highly recommend.
Went for a Cuban but found out the restaurant was out of the bread used to make it. Got a pork tenderloin and it was fried to death and dried out. Fries were undercooked. Restaurant was a mess. Staff was very friendly.
LoL read the reviews and they made us want to try it. Don't believe we have seen the waitress that is overly friendly LoL but all the ones we have had has been great. We love the food, come in on the weekend's always friendliest people. Plus we looked good paint job and floor boards everywhere.
Went there for the first time ever recently as my pool league was sitting there! Ordered their $5 pick 3 special and it didn't disappoint! Will definitely be going back with my kids
Visited NMC for our second time with our daughter who attends Millikin. We really enjoy their menu - full and varied. Prices are really good and your tastebuds will sure to be pleased. We got lucky and after we ate on Friday because Don and Jerry, a local duo, were there to entertain us with the blues. What a fun time. New Moon better not get too popular! It is a best kept secret!
