Tried a few times to order here, but was sold out. Finally was able to order dinner, and was NOT disappointed. Absolutely awesome BBQ brisket over fries.
Legit BBQ the way it should be. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just quality meats smoked with experience and know how. Great rubs and fantastic sauces on the side. Either by the sandwich or by the pound, you are gonna like this. Friendly and accommodating counter staff make it a breeze to get your fix for BBQ satisfied. Best I have found in Decatur or the SF bay area where I moved back home to Decatur from. That says a lot.
Used to be my favorite BBQ place in Decatur. Just came back they have changed their fries which are now inedible, the brisket mac and cheese was dry with barely any seasoning or cheese. Worst of all the whole reason I originally enjoyed coming here was the sauces and they don't even restock a majority of them anymore. Sadly my last time coming to Carol Lous.
OHHHH SNAP!!!! We had wings and OMG were they perfect. Cooked right on. Flavor of love. We had the Orange Explosion and Trip S, and the flavors were incredible. Def gonna be back mutiple trips. Dont expect it to be a nice place tho. But isnt that where the best food is? A couple of concerns, we ate in and had to eat from to go boxes, and it could be tidied up abit. Crew wasnt at all talkative either. But Im good, we know now that the food is JAM JAM JAMMMIN! GO NOW!
Great local bbq. Ribs are always on point. Dont forget the brisket mac n cheese. Carolina Red FTW on sauces!!!
First visit, must say everything was good but the peach bourbon beans are on another level. I have had beans at many BBQ places all over the country but these are special, a must try.
Had the tacos today. Very good! I'm never disappointed when I eat here. This place is by far the best BBQ in town.
Pretty decent food. Okra was extremely good. The tables were filthy and sticky.
