Both steak and shakes in Danville have fast service and friendly staff, I would like to make a special mention of the north vermilion steak and shake, I think that I had one incident with the store and the manager Gerry had the situation resolved and everyone one there way within minutes, thank you?

I got 4 onion rings with my meal for a large...and bowl of chili was also about half full...lol
Usually, I don’t have a problem with Steak ‘n Shake but lately I have. I went the other night get food and the wait was terrible! I go today and I asked for my sandwich to have extra bbq on it. The girl working had me repeat what I said twice & they still made the sandwich with no bbq in stead of extra
Love their garlic burgers and fries. Service at drive through was a little slow and for some reason you can't add to your order at the window.
Steak and Shake has become a favorite of mine the last few years as they're now cheaper than most of the other chain burger joints like McDonald's or BK but their food is significantly better than most of the competition. They can't touch the taste of places like Culver's or Freddy's but they're cheaper than both while still serving fresh made to order food. I've noticed that the drive through experience with them has gotten much better as well as wait times used to be excruciating.
basically refused to give me my change back, i ordered a 4for 4 and one triple and they charged me 19$ and would not figure out my actual change.
Great food. Fast and friendly service
No servers anymore, have to place order on a screen, wait for your number to be called, pick up your order. Has become a self serve like any fast food place. Also food was not as good as it used to be.
It would get a 5 star if the lobby was back open again.
