Second time in a row, I was charged for sauces (like I ordered) and I never received them. After calling the first time, they said they’d send someone to bring them to me. They never showed up with it. Called them again this time, they said they could just give me a free one next time. Yeah right. They also tried to blame the missing sauces on the doordash driver, because the worker had “checked it themselves” however the seals on the boxes were never broken
I wouldn't even gave one star. Call center horrible!!! App was not putting my order through so when call gives option to talk to manager tried to order through them told me could not take order and could not help me !!!!!!
The absolute worst experience I have delt with. We called and ordered 1 pizza and 1 order of breadsticks. We were asked cash or card. We chose cash. Was told it would be 35-45 min and an hour after later we called and was told our order was declined due to cash payment. Manager said delivery is another 35-45 min. It’s 10pm. We ordered again and paid with card. Another hour goes by and we call to check on our food. The manager told us the food left 5 min ago and would be here in 10-15 it’s now 12 and they charged me and the food was never delivered and they are now closed!!! Charged my card but never delivered my food. I will never order with Papa Johns again!
Topping s were slim More crust than the actual pizza I haven't bought Papa Johns for some years Now I know why...
Used to be great until they hired their live ordering out to India. Will never buy from them again.
I ordered a pizza at 9:50pm. at 10:45 all of a sudden when I checked the status it says canceled. I immediately call and I am still on hold, it it 11:07 now, they won't answer their phone. And now everywhere else is closed. Unbelievable.
I eat alot of Pizza. I'm 40 and have been eating Pizza several times a week since my Mom worked in a Local Pizza Place in Chicago when I was 4. I owned and have managed several Pizza Places over the Years. I have lived in many places as well as traveled all over the World. I've eaten 20,000 or more Pizzas in my day. I even wrote a food review on Pizza for a living.Today in Danville, Illinois at this Papa John's I had a horrible experience. I ordered a Pizza at 9pm and I said I would pay for my order in Cash.It then said the order would be 2 plus hours for Delivery. At just after 10pm I called on my ordered. They said it had been canceled. Because they don't take cash orders for Delivery. I needed to pay with a Credit Card or Debt Card. I said ok, I'll give you my Visa Number. The man says no. It was canceled you will have to re-order. Use a Credit Card. I said ok. So I re-do my order. It will not be here for another 2 to 2 1/2 hours. So from the time I ordered untill I get food it will be better than 3 to 4 hours.This is crazy. Very poor service. And you put me off when it was not posted on there web-site is even crazy carzy.I would not order from here. I do like there Pizza over Dominos but as for Service. I would not order here and I would order from another place. Or make it a Tomb Stone Night at Home!!
I eat alot of Pizza. Like several times a week. Out of all the places I have eaten pizza. The order for delivery from here is horrible.
Again this order was not what we ordered. So discouraging.
I order delivery for lunch frequently. My orders usually come earlier than estimated. Food is hot, what I order, and delivery person is always friendly. I order online and have never been disappointed
