Heard about Lee's from a you tube video. Drive down to Danville to try it out. The BBQ chicken sandwich which is a temporary item was outstanding. A nice bbq sauce in identifiable well cooked pieces of chicken. A nice taste with a undercurrent of spice.I asli tried the spicy chicken very good, more spicy than popeyes chicken was very juicy and tasty.
Being from Ohio, I am a big fan of Lee’s Chicken and I have to say this by far is the worst Lee’s I have ever dined. The cashier was handling pieces of chicken without gloves, answering the phone, handling money and continually handle food. I should have asked for my money back and just throw the food away.
I spent $124 for a large family get together. We had 28 pieces of chicken along with numerous sides. They were out of chicken legs and replaced them with thighs and wings. The wings were so small and had no meat on them. I had never seen thighs so small and they had about two bites of meat on them. The sides were good but the overall meal was terrible due to the chicken. Absolutely a total waste of my money. I will never get chicken from there again. Absolutely the worst I have ever had.
There's not enough stars to rate... This was my first job ever. Service is (still) remarkable. The Employees are awesome. The store is always clean and quiet. Danville would catch on fire if Lee's ever left. It's a very humble establishment ?
I come in to pick up chicken strip dinners on 5/28 bout 5:00...not busy at all.. well the strips were so overcooked and dried out could not eat them..and the order of fries were the same...not a good experience at all. Will be a very long time before going back ..if ever...
I usually always get good food at Lee's Chicken when I go to Danville but this last time the chicken was dry too salty and they didn't have enough chicken to fill my order
Got home and my chicken sandwich was pink and not done...very disappointed
The food was fantastic and fresh. They were extraordinarily busy, but still managed to get guests in and out in a very fashionable time. I was inside, placed my order, and out the door within ten minutes. Even though there were at least eight people ahead of me. The order was correct, and the food was great, as always.
The food is always good. The best chicken around.. The staff is always outstanding. I have been using the app lately and it's nice.
The chicken tasted good and didn't have to wait long.
