Best authentic Mexican food in Illinois.Amazing prices and the real deal on typical Mexican fare. If this restaurant was located in Chicago it would cost a fortune. Unfortunately most people in Danville don’t recognize how great this restaurant really is. The upside is that it’s usually not terribly busy and the atmosphere is lovely. Dirt cheap bang for the buck top-notch Mexican food just like they make it in a small town in Mexico.
stopped by today for a carryout of pollo ranchero. hostess/waitress was so sweet. their ranchero sauce is amazing. loved the meal. my compliments to cook. keep up the good job. salsa is amazing too.
I have been going to Buen for 25+ years starting back when they had the small location by the high school. I have lived in Chicago and now live in NC and this is still my favorite restaurant. We are always treated well when we go! The Chile con queso is the best I’ve ever had, and everything I’ve ever tried on the menu has been enjoyable. This place will always have a special place in my heart!

A hidden gem on North Vermillion Street. This restaurant might be hard to find but while worth the hunt. Excellent service, authentic Mexican entree, and clean well light environment. I hope that your experience will be as great as ours!
First time eating there and it was very good. Friendly service and very clean.
The employee seemed to keep putting off things like drink refills, but overall the food was good and there was a nice view out the window from my seat
I've been looking for a good Mexican restaurant in the area. After reading the reviews and looking at the pictures I decided to try this place. I ordered the burrito with rice and beans on the side. The burrito was a disappointment. It contained only hamburger, no lettuce, tomatoes or sour cream.
