The best breakfast in Crystal Lake! Crepes are alway great, and they have the best corn beef and hash! Amazing fresh fruit, and great service. We love this place!
Our family went here on Saturday, 7/2. We were treated to great hospitality by Rosie who was all decked out in an illuminated tiara & necklace for the 4th and was great fun! We discussed the delicious pickled/spicy cactus they served and she showed us a picture of it from her native Mexico. The food was great & Rosie made it a special meal for all!

We love coming here. Food is always good and service is friendly. My favorite is the Chilaquiles. They always come in a large portion and for a good price.

Inside is a little less charming than it looks on the outside and in pictures. The oversized chairs with the logo stitched into them are a lot and we kept tripping over them. Food was good but nothing crazy, honestly the staff was the best part of the meal, our server was awesome. Would come back just because of him.
I got the cornbeef skillet and it was fantastic. Real cornbeef nothing from a can and it came with two sides!!
We are out of town and decided to try this place. We were sat quickly and liked the menu options. The food took a little while longer to come out than expected, but then it was given to the table next to us by mistake. We got our food, but then our side of French toast was delayed. My kids enjoyed their food, all food was generous portions. I do want to note that the water had a weird taste, but overall we enjoyed it.
Never lets us down! Quaint comfortable warm great service, large portions, tasty tender skirt steak and outstanding pancakes!! Can’t wait to go back again!
Food was very good and service was very friendly. We had a problem that the kitchen screwed up two of the three meals we ordered. To his credit the server did offer to have the meals remade, but we don't like wasting food so we refused. In our opinion the right the to do then would be at least comp the coffee or offer a discount. Nothing offered. If not for the screw would have been five stars. Food makes us want to go back, but the screw up makes us think twice.
