Needs new management. Employees are rude, wait times are longer than need be. It takes 15 minutes to complete an order most of the time. Also making you wait before the window to keep their numbers good. Other restaurants don't need to do this. I'm sure this place would've closed down years ago.
This Place Needs To Be Shut Down IMMEDIATELY! ? The Staff Is DISRESPECTFUL! I Literally Ordered A 3 Piece Chicken Combo With A Medium Drink And Pulled Over To Eat In Their Lot As I Opened The Box All I See Is A DEAD FLY On My Biscuit! I Was Disgusted I Immediately Ran Back Inside With The Whole Order Not Touched And Asked For A Refund ! The Lady Handling Drive Thru At About 2PM Literally Tried To Tell Me That It Wasn’t A Fly While Over Squinting Her Eyes Like She Couldn’t See .
Customer service is horrible as hell.The manager needs to go back and get retrained.The young kids on that night team is only a example of bad leadership.The food horrible I guarantee that there in the business of cross contamination.I also saw employees go from the back to the front on the other side of the counter and did not wash there hands.I also believe that employees are not practicing serv safe practices.Popeyes audit this restaurantIf you don't wont to get sick ?? stay away ?
Nasty food... How can you get chicken nuggets wrong? Why do kids meals come WITHOUT a side?? Old chicken tastes like it's been sitting up for hours. It's ridiculous. I want to rate it a zero.
I won't knock the food, just the service. I try to avoid going to this location because they take forever to take your order. The drive-thru line is ALWAYS long and the workers always seem to have an attitude. Never had a serious issue with the food, just the bad service. ALWAYS double check you got everything because several times I've left and found I'm missing something. Even when they've confirmed that the sauces are in the bag, they're missing. So take a quick minute to go through your items. Be prepared to wait. Getting food here always takes a solid 30+ minutes. If you can avoid this location, I recommend going to the one on Cermak Ave a few blocks away from Riverside Mall. The biscuits there are also fluffier and more buttery.
Complete and utter disaster. Sucks how this is the only nearby popeyes where I live. Of course it’s the worst one. Where do I even begin. Obnoxious and rude staff all the time. Like I get it, You’re not paid enough to care. It’s cicero after all. No one is. But at least stop yelling and messing around while people are standing in line and waiting. Food was pretty good. Though make sure your order is right before leaving and never order doordash or grubhub from here. Guaranteed to forget something about your order.
We went there today because we don’t normally eat from Popeyes, just to try something different. The staff was terrible, not cordial at all. Everyone had an attitude and they were just opening. My husband was looking at all the staff and how they all were so nasty. The chicken was delicious other the wings were small as two of my fingers. I will never go back there and will tell everyone I know not to patronize this location on Cermak and Cicero. Terrible place to eat. They gotta do better. They all seem unhappy with their jobs and all of them should get out of customer service. This place should be shutdown and get some professional people There with people skills.I don’t advise anyone to eat at this Popeyes. I try to support, but you can’t support everyone.
Staff are very disrespectful. Food was cold very nasty I recommend too not come to This place. In the inside trash was everywhere.
Made a mobile order almost an hour and a half prior to pick-up. When my SO arrived to pick up the order, employee told her she didn’t know what she was talking about. Manager got involved & went through the receipts that had printed at the register, eventually locating our mobile order.It took almost another 30 minute for our food to be prepared. Location was out of red beans & rice.. it happens. They replaced it with Mac N Cheese. But we also ordered a dinner meal for my daughter & they forgot the side order of fries.I’m giving two stars because the food was still decent, but the experience to get the food was extremely lackluster.
If I get the food it definitely hits the spot but I have had issues every time I order through DoorDash, the app or Uber eats. They give me the wrong order, items go missing or sometimes they even cancel the order. Overall skip ordering from this location and if you do pick up or dine verify everything is good cause they will skimp out on things.
