If you looked up “Chicago Beef and Dog Joint” in the dictionary you’d find an entry for Wolfy’s. The grill sizzles as the staff expertly slings char dogs, burgers, shrimp baskets and gyros. It’s a small place but there is a decent amount of seating and even parking. If you’re jonesing for a Chicago dog, stop into Wolfy’s. You’ll leave satisfied.

BurgersItalian Beef, I love the combo, sweet peppers or spicy gardinare dry or dipped French fries or Onion Rings. They have a salads too. Treat yourself.
This place serves all the hot dog stand staples at reasonable prices in a setting that's nice for quick eats. You want a Chicago style hot dog? Here you go. Pizza puff? You got it. Gyro? Absolutely. If you're in the neighborhood and are looking for some standard Chicago comfort food without breaking the bank I highly recommend Wolfy's.
Almost always I get my order of mozzarella sticks like this cmon wolfys gotta do better your burgers are to solid for you to be giving me my cheese sticks like this lol none the less this is still an amazing gem the best burgers on the north side that’s a proven facts I mean my mozz sticks come out like this but that doesn’t stop me from ordering from them lol

me and my brother came here about a years and a half ago. In for a quick visit from California and had to have a Chicago Dog. Wasn’t disappointed! Great old school vibe. Friendly service and quick too. parking was iffy but my brother took care of it nicely from what i remember
