The chicken here is barely edible. It’s advertised as fried when it’s microwaved and not fresh. I was worried it would make me sick so I didn’t even eat it. Waitress asked me if I wanted a box instead of asking if I liked it. I didn’t say anything and regret not. Paid and left. Will not be back here. My husbands cuban was gross as well. Service was good and atmosphere was nice as well. Wanted to like it but the food was just so bad.
I would say above average bar food. Always friendly wait staff, always friendly bartenders, just a nice place to be. Also, it's open concept. Nice place in the South Loop.
Had a good time but it's more like a sports bar.
I brought my girlfriend here last week since she was visiting from out of town. I've always thought about going to this place for well over a year, as both the menu and raving reviews were appealing. However, because I live in the suburbs, getting to this place was a journey; hopping trains and blistering my feet on a lengthy walk from the OTC is an endeavor that took hours. I can safely say that the endeavor was well worth it, especially on an empty stomach.We both ordered the 1503, and I got some cheese curds as an extra. Out of the many burgers I've enjoyed throughout a lifetime, this place is at the top of my list. Everything on the burger worked together harmoniously. Nothing inside of it felt out of place, and the barbecue sauce elevated this burger to another level of sweet gluttony. I would gladly come here again.
Daughter took me out to brunch for my birthday. Had a fun time. Even though the waitress seemed to be only server that morning, she was courteous & efficient. Enjoyed the trip!
First time there but I liked it a lot , food decent and nice drink selection, very diverse south loop crowd, it's also a White Sox bar which is another plus. SOUTHSIDE!! Dogs welcome on outside area.
Great place for big groups! We booked a reservation for 35 people and they were very accommodating and attentive! The staff were very friendly, they knew what they were doing with a large group, drinks and food came out faster than I expected and the food was great! Thanks Weather Mark Tavern!
