Nice little hidden Gem in my Cool Breakfast Spot Journey. This place was great! I had the bacon flight which will knock your socks off. Also had the Chicken & Waffles and the chicken tasted great. The Spam sliders were a hit. Portions are just right. The ginger hot tea was perfectly prepared. They have a cool selfie mirror. Everything is fine thru the url. Ode which keeps things in order.
Making reservations is a must, any time, any day. I was fortunate enough to come right before it got super busy. Or else I most definitely would have needed a reservation. Parking well it's Chicago soooo. There is a parking structure immediately east. And I mean immediately. It is hidden. Turn into the entrance for Wake n Bacon. Or else you will miss it. Parking is NOT the property next door with two garage doors that says parking. Weird, I know. It's a bit different as far as ordering goes. But service is great and friendly. You walk in and go straight back to the counter to check in. You are seated with a menu, and when ready to order you can either go back to the counter or scan the code at your table. Both are very easy to do. But don't expect your typical waiter/waitress checking on you it's not that kind of place. But, that does allow the staff to focus on very timely food and drink delivery. The bacon is amazing, the drinks.... yes please. And if you'd like, hemp extract is available in all of it. Very clean and refreshing atmosphere. And before you go, or while you wait, there is a photo mirror. Fun for a couple, a family, or a friend. Give it a try! I'll definitely be back.
All about bacon !!! Bacon flight was different and delicious. You can choose to add cbd or hemp to your dish. The coffee drinks with ube were awesome. The waffle and the featured entrees. The grilled cheese with bacon jam...omg...The burrito, chicken sandwich and the scramble were very good. Heads up....no designated parking. All street. Have fun.
Found this delicious gem on our way back home to Texas. It was absolutely delicious, good service, and they didn’t hound us about wearing dang masks like Winter Park did. That was probably the best thing! Ha! We got the Bacon Dippers, pot pie, and a pancake and it was all absolutely amazing. Didn’t even make a dent in our food we ordered! YUMMY!!! I loved the little creamer carafe! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Solid 4 stars. Food was exceptional. The only reason for the 4-star vs. 5-star review is while I understand it’s a fast-casual concept, the service staff conducted itself in such a way that they wanted us in and out as quickly as possible, and they didn’t want to have to deal with us other than to simply serve us the food.
I really can't Express the food and this place, it is just blowing your mind, it's super delicious, definitely high recommended.
Wake 'n Bacon has quickly become a go-to breakfast place for our us. Each dish has its own unique flavor - a welcome change from the "traditional" breakfasts served by many other restaurants.The Ube Flapjack Stack is my go-to choice here - it literally has everything you could want in a breakfast and is bursting with fun flavors. My partner has tried the Spiced Maple Chicken N Waffles and Breakfast Burrito and loves them both. We also always get a Quesadilla as a sweet treat to split - it's a perfect addition to brunch.We've only ever ordered takeout but hope to dine-in at some point when it's safe. Our experience with takeout has always been great - ready within a reasonable amount of time and staff is super friendly/helpful.
I went here for brunch To celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. And we ordered a bacon flight and that was absolutely delicious along with a burger that I ordered , a Jorgito bowl and the Phatty. The food is absolutely tasty and all of the staff are welcoming and friendly. I really like the concept of not having waiters. The process of ordering and paying for your food is super easy and you don’t even have to leave your seats. But they will bring your food out for you so I absolutely enjoy that aspect. The only complaint I have would be the fact that the tables are way too close together. I felt like I was sitting in a cafeteria, if i extended my arm out i could definitely touch the person sitting at the table next to ours. The tables beside me could definitely hear everything I was saying and vice versa. That part wasn’t very enjoyable for me especially with COVID.
Friendly staff, friendly owners, great food! Hands down the best chicken and waffles. We drove two hours away and could not be disappointed. Thank you wak n bacon
Such a cute restaurant with great food. Service was fast, there’s plenty to chose from on the menu. The bubble waffle was just okay. I didn’t care for the syrup because it has a Smokey flavor to it. My favorite thing was the photo booth and getting to take your pictures home! The only thing I didn’t like was the location. I got lucky with a park on the street, but drove around several blocks looking for a space.
