We order from them all the time and this is the first time I decided to leave a review. The food is always excellent & I mean everything!
VPT Grill is a very nice place. My family and friends came here at least 5 times and everyone enjoyed their food. Never had seen any rats or experienced a bad service. Cute outdoor seating area. I am a picky vegetarian but love their harvest salad. My son who hardly eats any food in restaurants could not have enough of chicken strips and French fries. My husband loves their burgers. Highly recommend this place to anyone. I would ignore the previous review.
I ordered borrow tacos to go from here, I came in with my family to dine in but I had to leave earlier than everyone so I decided to get my order to go. Literally everyone around me got their orders, even my table, but even after an hour I haven’t received my order. I had to go in and ask what happened to my order, it turns out they never even began preparing it. The food was tasty but the service did not make up for it
I've been a huge fan of this place for years. Tonight several old friends met up after so many months. VPT was literally the reason to get us together and I'm so thankful for their incredible burgers that motivated some of my friends to show up!
Second time trying this place. The first time we ordered pizza and carne asada fries. Both were really good and and cooked perfectly. Last night we ordered a burger and the Mexican chicken entree. Again both were really good! The Mexican food is so good and it's nice they have really good options for a variety of foods. We will order again!
Last time I went, the al pastor tacos were pretty good. They make a real mean Santa Fe burger (black bean in my case). In fact, I might start there! Skip the horchata. Way too sweet/tastes artificial.
I really love this VPT! I am really amazed with their place! The food here is so exceptional! They have cheese burgers, fries, hot dogs, sandwiches, and other comfort foods. They are great spot full of amazing and quality comfort foods that is really satisfying. Their cheese burgers are so meaty, tasty, cheesy, and made so fresh. Their veggies are also fresh and always new. You can literally tell that their food was really made to order. Their portions are good and sized. They servings is also awesome. I also recommend to try their Crisscut fries, it is flavorful, crispy, and delicious. Their burgers are so unique because it has a logo of VPT at the top of the bread. This place is one of those hidden treasures of this area of Chicago. It was a pleasant surprise when you go for a visit and stop in. Lots of vegetarian options, healthy foods, and quality comfort foods. Plus, the staff here is really great, they are so friendly, and they are very accommodating. They will greet you once you enter their place, assist you with your orders, and even guide you to the vacant spot for you to enjoy your food. What a great customer service. They also have outdoor patio with tables, chairs, umbrellas, and lights. It is so organized and bright. Very nice and perfect place to relax and satisfy your cravings. Thank you VPT Grill! I work in the area and had this place on my list to try. I finally had the opportunity to try it out. I got the wings. $16 later for 10 wings that tasted like frost bite. They looked like some jewel frozen Tyson wings.. I asked to toss the wings in extra sauce. The wings weren't even covered once in sauce.. I just threw them away after 2 wings.... won't ever return here again.
Great food. Everything was super quick. I had the Good Attitude burger. It was delicious. The fries were also really good and nice and crispy.
I walked over for a bite while my car was getting fixed and was not expecting this place to be so good! My tacos were the best I have ever had and my husband's burger was the bomb! So fresh and delicious! The meals were all plated so nicely too. They have a nice outdoor seating area and require masks inside while ordering. I wish I lived nearby,I would eat here all the time! A hidden gem!
