Got sick the morning after dinner. Ordered Paneer Mattar, Aloo Ghobi and Dal Makhani with Naan. Normally they are reliable but need to suffer stomach bug this time due to food quality issues ?
Very good food! My experience with Indian food is very minimal, however this place has a Great Palak Paneer.... The flavors are very rich and the plates are sized to share. I had the Himalayan Momo appetizer... Thumbs Up!The Poleko Khasi was also very tasty!If you're a beer drinker, order yourself a large Taj Mahal, you won't be disappointed.
Cashew Chicken Tikka Masala should be considered for best dish chicago. I’ve been coming here since they opened and while I miss their cocktails greatly it’s still nice to enjoy the top notch Indian food. Hopefully they will open soon for indoor dining.
Ordered delivery: butter chicken and garlic naan. The menu on uber eats states you get both rice and naan with your dish - great since it was over $20 bucks... i order additional order of garlic naan for 5 bucks (because I love bread and I’m a skinny little girl so I can). When the delivery came I received only one small garlic naan with a small side of rice... both were not even enough to be able to finish the whole butter chicken with... not worth the money. Order somewhere else, so you don’t have to end up cooking rice or making bread late at night.
Got lip-smacking take out from Vajra! Their Tellicherry Pepper Fry, Tiger Prwn Molee, and Tandoori Beera Chicken were awesome! Jackfruit Dum Biryani was interesting. Great food would definitely look forward to eating in once they open again.
The food was delicious and the customer service was incredible. After having an issue with my first order, they went above and beyond to make up for it. Could not recommend this place enough.
This is without a doubt the best Indian food I have had in Chicago. Nothing on Devon even holds a candle to this place. The food genuinely feels authentic and not an awkward Americanized version of Indian food.Will go again and again every time I come back to Chicago.
Hands down the best Indian I've had in Chicago. Quality product with great taste, and fair prices. Loving the pick-up only option right now too!
Amazing, flavorful vegetarian food. The samosas are addictive and the veggie biriyani is the best I've ever had. Highly recommend this spot.
