Place is nice , kind of pricey but I get it everything has gone up. I didn't like the pieces of chicken I got. I got the Sundays special Which included 1 breast, 5 wings , 5 legs and 6 thighs. A family special with 1 Breast ?? ?♂️?♂️?
The food was hot and fresh. They forgot my fries. But I would drive from Hyde Park and purschase food again
The okra was good, but chicken gizzards was old , if I didn't live so far away I would have returned them. A picture of how they look.
I had bought an order of Chicken Gizzards. They were a little to light for my liking. But, they were very good. I'm glad they're back open for business.
Sauce was Great!!! Fries was ok.....but the chicken was horrible......cooked too hard.....refried.....too dark.......old grease......get it together......this food is too expensive to taste like this.....
If I could eat Uncle Remus everyday I would uh old. I love there food. Everything is good, TV he rolls, fish, chicken, fried okra, and I am so glad they sell their mild sauce in a larger quantities. This place has amazing food, and amazing customer service.
Congratulations! THE GRAND OPENING! This place has been here since my mom was 12 years old! They remodel the inside - (I’ll update with a picture next time im there) They food has always been at it top best for they amazing crispy chicken with they amazing A1 sauce! If you are visiting Chicago for its tasty food this place is must. We travel out of state to the west side for this delicious pan.
If you can make it before they close. They definitely have some of the best chicken around the town. Go asap
