Swedish brunch. Cozy patio
One of my favorite brunch places in the city! Love their salmon dill quiche, vanilla orange french toast, and the waffle with fresh fruit. Everything is always fresh and delicious. Sometimes the food can take awhile, but it's worth the wait ?
Food and service was excellent. Just make sure the male waiter serves you and not the older lady. She was very grumpy.
Beyond my expectations! My cousin planned all of the cousins here to celebrate my Aunt’s life that passed away recently. This was her favorite place and now I know why. Their dishes were delicious and garnished professionally. I had the quiche and my daughter had the salmon eggs Benedict. Some had the Swedish meatballs. All were delicious. Their pastries were freshly made and not one was left lol. Their staff was pleasant and efficient! Thank you for making this memorable occasion more special!
Always excellent Scandinavian cuisine combined with friendly service. Highly recommended
The only thing you really need to know about this place is that they have sausage, and that you should buy it! Tre Kronor's breakfast sausages are so good! They rotate to keep inventory fresh so they might not have what you loved last time, but they'll definitely have something new and delicious! Their waffles and pancakes are topped with sweet fresh fruit, and their pastries are delectable! So I guess there's more than just the one thing.
It was my first time here and I had expected great things but was disappointed. Our food for my family of 2 took 40 minutes and then it was wrong with Two items missing. Had it been packed I would totally understood but we were 1 of 6 tables in the whole place. Our server although very kind to us seemed to not be bothered by the fact things were wrong. We finally had to ask for our food and that shouldn't have needed to happen. Not sure going back is in our future, i do hope future family's have a better experience ?
I went to Tre Kronor two days in a row. That’s how much I love it! Best quiche ever! I tried both the Broccoli and Cheddar, Brie and Red Pepper and they’re excellent. We also ordered the cinnamon roll and strawberry cream danish and they did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Vanilla and Orange french toast and he said it was not as flavorful as he expected it. I ordered Goat Cheese and Mushroom omelette and it was better than what I expected. And don’t discount the Swedish pancakes with lingonberry preserves.
The food was very good, what I am used to getting there, authentic quality well prepared. Worth 5 stars. The service on the other hand is more like 2 stars. 1-1/2 hours for a simple breakfast for one is not acceptable. It took 15 minutes to just be able to be acknowledged to place my order. For a Saturday mid-morning with an average crowd, nothing outrageous, no one waiting to be seated, the staff seemed overwhelmed. Give your self plenty of time with no schedule plans following your meal,, and you'll enjoy the experience with your meal.
Great food, and very friendly staff.
