Authentic Italian food, freshly made pastas. Friendly atmosphere.

We took the pasta making class. It's the perfect double date activity or just a great way to spend time with your friends. We were well fed before and after the experience and we learned everything we needed to know to make egg or simple pasta at home. Not to mention we took three meals worth of it home with us.

Plenty of pasta across Chicago but this one trumps them all. Handmade pasta possibly the best I have eaten outside Italy. Amazing bread and outstanding pasta must do.

Hands down best pasta I’ve had in the city. Incredible Al Fresca vibes. Sometimes they even have live Italian music on the sidewalk. This is currently my most recommended restaurant for my friends and family.

The menu is limited for a reason - everything that they make is made to perfection, hand crafted daily with a combination of local ingredients, and Italian imports. Having eaten across the north and south of Italy, I can confidently say that Tortello is among the best Italian food I’ve ever had.

Well hot damn! If this wasn’t one of the best Wine & Pasta Wednesdays yet! (Been going for 22 weeks! ?) We wanted to check out some new neighborhoods and I randomly chose Wicker for the fun vibes and a knowledge that there’d be plenty of bar options afterwards for a post dinner drink/discussion. I’m SO GLAD that we did because this one takes the cake for best Italian in Chicago so far! Unlike other dine in spots Tortello offers meals to go, home made past to buy and take home at the counter or a small menu available for dining in. We chose the patio which ended up being perfect vibes after the live duo La Tosca sat right next to us and played beautifully the whole night. Honestly, it felt more Italian than my actual dinners in Italy. Annnnnnnyyyyywwwaaayyy, the food! We started with the Focaccia Ricotta & Honey. Perfectly salted and delicious and only slightly beaten by our friends at Peanut Park. The PASTA- Hands down the best pasta we’ve had. And I’m not just talking the taste, texture and the perfect Al dente cook. This was ??. The signature Tortello was filled with a creamy burrata and a drizzle of balsamic ?. The tagliatelle was so simple yet so delicious, and despite not being much of a desert fanatic the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. What a happy yet random place we stumbled upon. Will be going back soon and brining anyone whose available. If you want more visuals check out our run down on TikTok @eatwithneroni!

I am not an Italian cuisine lover because it is usually too heavy. However, this place was divine and I enjoyed every bite. Freshly hand made pasta dishes were both delicious and light. Just do yourself a favor and GO VISIT!

Yum! Amazing pasta and even more amazing was the focaccia with honey and ricotta. Absolutely delicious. You pay at the register first, then seat yourself. A water jug is placed at the table and you pour it yourself. Staff were great, they checked on us if we needed anything.

Adorable restaurant with authentic pasta handmade live in store. Need to order in store before sitting and they'll bring you water and dishes at your table.Everything we had tasted fantastic in texture and flavor. Portions are decent for Italian entrees.Get the focaccia! The ricotta dip is a must. I'd drink it if they let me.Outdoor seating is plentiful and well set up. Perfect stop for a sunny day on an exploration of the neighborhood.

A surprising.fujd for me at Bucktown... Right in Division. They make fresh Pasta continuously, and you can watch fresh fettuccine being made at the restaurant window.I ordered focaccia with honey ricotta as an app, which was delicious, half a bottle of white wine and three entrees, including my favorite spaghetti !!Al dente pasta with robust red sauce and burratta on top. The tiramisu , which not a good looking dish is to die for. .Best place to sit is outside.
