Order was incorrect as the chicken was not smothered and my two entrees had sweet potatoes and not collards greens. When I tried to call and discuss the error, the phone was not answers and rolled to a full voicemail. ?♀️ I guess it is important to check one’s food before walking out of the door.
The food doesn’t taste the same pre-Covid . I couldn’t finish the food the Mac n cheese doesn’t taste good. Oh yeah my order was wrong I asked for yams not greens beans. There was a black male working the cash register very rude and unprofessional. I will never support this business again they need to train the Black male cashier on customer service he had an attitude while taking our order and told us we couldn’t dine in because we placed our order already. Oh yeah the ac doesn’t work
First time there. Customer service could have been better. Rice was gummy and barely had gravy. Greens could've been cooked longer because they had alot of the big stems in them. The chicken was delicious, borderline almost salty, but it was the best part of the meal. I ordered takeout and I'm big on presentation of my food. Presentation was horrible! When I opened that tray it did not look appealing at all!However, the patrons dining in, the food on their plates looked amazing. I would still give them one more try and eat inside to see if that makes a difference.
I went to this restaurant on 6/23/2022 and I loved everything I ordered. I ordered a whole jerk Cornish Hern with the side of collard greens with macaroni and cheese. It was really good and I was full when I left. The customer service was good as well. I love supporting and will definitely be coming back.
Me and my fiancé was here and the service was terrible only the fried chicken was good, and the green tomatoes. The same individual who took our order cut the vacuum on while we were still seated and eating our food and started vacuuming and kept saying he was ready to get out here

This place was definitely delicious one of the best soul food restaurants I’ve been to in a while and the Waiter Darren was amazing and funny checked on us several times to make sure we were good. I will be back…. Over stuffed myself the food was so good.

Took a while but it’s worth the wait if you have a hankering for some soul food. Stopped there for lunch and everything was solid. My fave was the yams and Mac and cheese. Def coming back for okra and green tomatoes soon!
