This place has a huge and diverse menu, but when it comes to the sushi it's always good! The chef left some bones in my fish but it was otherwise good. The smoothies and drinks are great!
Love this place. The food is good and I like the dine-in experience. Good place to go to just get away from people and get some piece & quiet lol love, love, love the shrimp & rice and the philly sushi rolls ??
I absolutely love this quaint local neighborhood Cafe. Perfect for a quick study bite, or as a incognito intimate date venue. I am glad that the owner stuck it out and solidified the sit downs place as one of Hyde parks own.
Love this place the food the atmosphere and definitely 5⭐ service.
I’m not super picky. I’ll eaten at plenty of sushi places. However, I did not like the sushi here. They give you a lot, but it sucked. Was slathered in sauce but somehow still bland??? Me and my friend got two different drink, both were kind of nasty. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately I would NOT recommend. Just Go to Shinju down the street.
Ordered the chicken club. It came on a pita bread. Fruit salad looked old and 1/4th of the container and it tasted spoiled!!!! Never again!!!
Good food and service. The temperature inside the establishment was cold.
We definitely got to sit down at the sit-down Cafe! A fine drink list fresh and delicious appetizers and sushi that'll knock your fins off?
While the service wasn't the issue, the food definitely was. I'm not judging the service just the food. Ordered the special which was a oven roasted salmon on a bed of linguine and sauteed mushrooms. Once the food got there it looked appetizing, but when I bit into the fish, it had zero flavor, the linguine was not cooked all the way through, while also flavorless even with the sauce and mushrooms. The whole dish was bland and it was their special, I'd be willing to give another try, but not for a while. I was expecting flavor with all the combined ingredients but didn't get it unfortunately.
Food: 3Value: 1Service: 5Atmosphere: 4Avg: 3.25Comments: I get the feeling that this restaurant isn’t quite sure what it is. They serve everything from sushi to Jambalaya stew to steak sandwiches to pizza. This identity crisis is reflected in its subpar food. The maki rolls were expensive ($8-$10) and had no integrity. You just can’t get away with charging that much when you’re rice is bland and you skimp on the amount of fish.
