Just dinner after church. The food was not as good as the previous week last Friday night 5/27. The calamari didn’t have enough salt on it and it was very tiny pieces. The soup was extremely thick with no seasoning/flavor.

This classic version of the Palm brand offers a riverside view and a warm, bright lunch environment. Shrimp cocktail and steak salad both excelled. These typical plates are given fine flourishes, like hearts of palm (get it?!) and the portions are generous. Excellent range of wines by the glass supplement the range. The service team is most accommodating and very well trained!

Service was good. Main course was delicious. Lobster bisque was terrible, more like a pudding, way too thick, not tasty at all and I have had bisque many times, sorry. Presentation of bisque was nice, too bad it didn’t taste good .

As always, great food, service and atmosphere. The Palm in Chicago is always on the list when I’m in town.

Great meal and exceptional service from Anthony!

The Palm is a reliable steak restaurant - no matter the location, hotel or free-standing, they’ll always be pricey but consistently worth it. In Chicago, don’t even bother with Shula’s downtown in the Sheraton; walk a block to the Swissotel and hit up The Palm.

Excellent place to eat. We were on the bottom floor, so there was no real view of the pier and river, but the dining experience was excellent. Staff was friendly, and the food was amazing. Price was about what you'd expect for steakhouses and fine dining in the area.

Good service and food. Would go again..........................

Great service, tasty food, good cocktails. They can be a bit pricey, but overall worth it. Had a great time.

I have eaten at The Palm in NYC and expected The Palm in Chicago to be very expensive. But, I knew it would be good and I had some pretty special guests. The bill was actually less than expected. The only complaint is that one of my guest has sciliac disease and there were not a lot of gluten free choices for her.
