Not the best walker bros but not terrible either. I grew up going to a couple of the suburban locations, which are definitely much better but I don’t live in the suburbs and this location is convenient.I’ve only taken food to go and not dined in, so I can’t review the service. I always get the vegetarian omelette.. it’s not bad. The sheer size of it and being pretty jam packed with ingredients that taste fresh makes the price not totally unreasonable. The only thing I dislike is that the omelettes are pretty bland and have pretty much no flavor so I have to use a lot of salt to make it taste better (I dislike having to use a lot of salt on food and try to avoid that). The cheese isn’t really spread out or totally melted but could be worse. I’m used to and prefer the traditional shredded hash browns that WB was kind of known for, but I’ve grown to like the seasoned potatoes and do enjoy them. I’m not sure if I’d go as far as recommending this location to others, but it’s not terrible.

Candied Bacon ? WaffleWhat else can I say?Clean dining room, quick service, & friendly staff make this a great place to brunch.

Vegetarians, Muslims or Jewish people, they will not accommodate you in the slightest if asked. Simply wanted the ham in a western omelet on the side because we like sharing meals. According to server and the guy we heard in the kitchen, "the ham isn't precooked we have to mix everything together and cook it." It is clearly precooked ham.But let's pretend it wasn't, how hard is it to cook some ham at restaurant where there are 8 or so tables sat of 30+ on a Sunday morning before the rush starts? On top of that all of the cheese was in the dead center and not exactly melty. We also did not have salt pepper or sugar on our table. Asked for them and was only brought pepper.I have been going to Original Pancakes House's for 16 years; today was the first (and obviously last) time at this location. The Gold Coast location is a classic for me, grew up a few blocks away. Lincoln Park was also great because it was just down the street from my school, LPHS.

The Santa Fe omelette with Chicken Sausage is good. Strawberry pancakes are good. The breakfast potatoes were soft and I was expecting it to be crispy! We got the Southwest Skillet and it was all soggy and soft. The base of skilled is supposed to be hash browns or atleast crispy potatoes which was not tha case.Go for the pancakes and omelette!

In my opinion it is the best diner in Chicago. Their signature dish is Apple Pie, it is really good. They have really many options for brunch. You should try this place.

It's nothing to write home about, but it's very comforting. Staffs are always friendly and efficient. I've never had problem with this location. Whenever I am craving for omelette, I come here.

This Restaurant is not BBB and FTC compliant. Would highly recommend paying with cash if you HAD to go to this restaurant. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO, and lie about it. I reached out to the management of this restaurant and was eventually in communication with the owner over My issue. She refused to comply. So I forwarded my issue to the Better Business Bureau and Federal Trade Commission. The restaurant didn’t not comply with their request or communication. (This will go against their restaurant and if more cases happen, they will either have fines, or be forced to close) WHAT HAPPENED: We ordered $35 of carry out food at this restaurant. We paid with a Credit Card that I ONLY used at this restaurant upon visiting on vacation. (Non local, only used the credit card in question at this restaurant). When paying, the person took my card, ran to a waiter station/cash register out of eye sight. And took about 10 minutes to process the transaction. Definitely felt uneasy about it, especially having sat there for 10 minutes with warm food going cold. There was other people in our party who witnessed and could attest to this. Days later, and hours away from Lincoln park. I receive more charges from various Lincoln park restaurants… (after only using my card at this exact restaurant) Go figure. Visa closed my card, refunded the transactions, and issued a new card. All damage was fixed on my end. I brought this up to management to make them aware of the issue. I get ahold of the owner and she instantly dismisses the issue without having looked into it. I told her I have no reason to make this up, and that I don’t want a refund or anything. I just wanted to make them aware of this. So the owner decides to dig into a little deeper. Weeks later, she finally locates the videos of the me within the restaurant.. She informs me, through her cctv, I was lying and that the transaction happened in front of my face, and was only about 2 minutes total. I nicely ask for the video, of us entering and walking out of the video. She doesn’t comply and says it’s violates their employee’s safety. I told them I’m only focused on the video of us, especially when we arrived and when we left. Nobody else had to be in the video. Keep in mind, the owner had already sent other screenshots to confirm our presence being there. These screenshots would have equally compromised her employer’s safety as much as a “2 minute” video would. I then ask for just a screenshot of the time stamp of us waking in, and a time stamp of us walking out. (Knowing we were there for 10 minutes). And the owner refused. So not only will this restaurant steal your credit card info. The owner will not comply and attempt to cover it up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

So good. Apple pancake is delicious! Big portion!

Ordered the potato pancakes. They were plain; tasted like grill grease and potato flakes - no onions. Two meals came out to $50. The coffee was burnt, Speedway has better coffee. The Pancake House in the Gold Coast has better food.

Great place for a good hot meal. Was not disappointed! Would definitely go back again!
