Great selection of ciders on tap, vegetarian and vegan food options. I had a very delicious salad and was impressed to see they had vegan sausages on the menu. It's the perfect place to hangout while waiting for your architectural boat tour to start!
We went here three days ago and it was so good we went back again yesterday. The Northman Burger and the Chicago dog were phenomenal and I loved the Ladies Man wheat beer. If I lived in Chicago I’d be at this place like once a month.
I am convinced the tater tots were solely cooked by a heat lamp and only a heat lamp. Drink selection is solid. Good pandemic friendly spot.

Came here while on vacation. Very good place to relax after a day of wandering the city, huge local beer selection. The house ciders are also quite decent.
I was out walking at dusk, decided I needed a rest and some food, stopped here for a brat. If restaurant success depends on location this place has got it made. There are few places more pleasant in Chicago than the new river walk and the Northman has a choice spot. All the river walk joints are a little pricey. The Northman had a large array of potables including Austrian pilsner. This was a wonderful place to sit and watch day turn to night.
